The Stay in Bed clock, can also be a Night-light, when your little one is sleeping. You will find the Stay in Bed clock useful for kids to learn time and wake up at the right time! 2

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read these safety instructions completely before using this product for your protection. For safety reasons, all warnings and operating should be followed and adhered to. All packing materials, such as tape, plastic, sheets, packaging locks, wire ties and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child s safety. Please keep this user s manual as it contains important information. Please protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste. This device may not cause harmful interference. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. VISUAL GUIDE 3

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE 1 Stay in Bed Light Clock 1 USB Power Cable (USB Power Supply not included) The supplied USB Power Cable can be used with any USB Power Supply. SETUP This Clock can be powered with either the USB Cable or 3 AA batteries (batteries are not included). USING BATTERIES 1. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and open it with a small Philips screwdriver. 2. Insert 3 AA batteries as illustrated 3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw USING THE USB POWER CABLE 1. Take the supplied USB Power cord and plug it into the Power port on the back of the clock. 2. Insert the other end of the USB Power Cable into a USB Power Supply (not included), and then insert into a regular 120V Outlet. Once the batteries are inserted or the clock is plugged into an outlet the Clock will beep and the screen will display 12:00 AM. At this time you can set the time. 4

SETTING THE TIME FORMAT AND TIME SETTING THE TIME FORMAT Open the rear control panel compartment (See Image 1) SETTING THE TIME 1. (1) Hold down the Set Time button for 2 seconds. The Setting icon will start flashing and 12Hr will be displayed on the screen. See Image 2. 2. Push the Hour button to choose the clock format between 12 Hr. and 24 Hr. 3. After choosing the hour format push the set time button to save the format setting. After selecting your hour format the display will look like Image. 3 and you can now set the clock Time. 4. Push the Hour & Min buttons to adjust the time. 5. Once you are done adjusting the time, push the set time button to save the time setting. Screen display will look like image 4 5

NIGHT LIGHT AND LIGHT BRIGHTNESS When the clock is in regular time dislay mode the night light can be turned on by pushing the big Light button on the left side. (See Image 5) The Clock has 4 light colors to choose from (Orange, Green, Red, Purple) that can be cycled through using the light bulb button on the left side. When any of the clock light colors are on, the brightness can be adjusted by pressing the Light Adj. button in the control panel. There 3 different brightness settings. The Night Light will stay on all Night unless the auto-off option is programmed. (see programming Auto-off Function) Note: The light have the brightness adjusted with the light adj. after you push the big Light button to light on. The brightness can not be adjust during programming and when the alarm time displaying at the top of the screen. SETTING THE AUTO-OFF FUNCTION The Auto-off function will turn off the night light in between 15 minutes and 2 hours in 15 minute increments. SETTING THE AUTO OFF Hold Down the Auto Off button for 2 seconds. The icon will flash and Off will be displayed on the screen. By default, the Auto-Off Function is off and the night light will stay on all night. Push the Min buttons to select the length of time (in 15 min increments) that you want the night light to stay on, before turning off. Once the amount of time for the auto-off function is displayed, push the auto-off button to save the settings. The setting is now locked and the display will show the current time. 6 Note: Auto-Off does not get saved for each night light use. Every time you turn on the Night Light and want it to shut at a designated time, you will need to reset Auto-Off.

ALARM SETTINGS This clock has 2 different wake up alarm settings: 1. OK TO COME OUT OF BED LIGHT/ALARM Alarm can be used to indicate when the child can come out of bed. (Example: the alarm will light up (green) at 7 am to indicate its ok to come out of bed.) An audible alarm can also be set for this if you want. 2. STAY IN BED LIGHT Alarm can be used to indicate when a child needs to stay in bed. (Example: If you do not want your child to get out of bed before 7am, the clock can be programmed to light up [red] at 6:30 am [or any other AM Hour] and if the child wakes up and the clock is red. He/ she will know that it is too early and they need to wait patiently until the clock turns green to get out of bed.) You can set and use these functions differently to fit you and your child needs This Clock also features a Nap Time Setting SETTING THE OK TO COME OUT OF BED LIGHT/ALARM 1. Hold down the alarm button for 2 seconds. The icon and will start flashing. See Image 6. 2. Push the Hour & Min buttons to set the alarm time. 3. Once the alarm time has been set, push the Alarm button to continue on to the ringer selection. 4. Push the big on the right side of the clock repeatedly to select the type of ringer for the alarm. This clock has 3 ring types: No ring, Slow Ring, Fast Ring. If you only want to have a light for the ok to come out of bed select the No Ring Option. (Note: At this time you can adjust the volume of the ring, by pressing the Light adj button. There are 3 volume options. Once you have selected the volume, press the Alarm button again, to move to the light selection.) 5. Once the ring type is selected, push the Alarm button to continue onto the light selection. The setting icon and the light bulb icon will be flashing, and the clock will light up. (See Image 7) 6. Push the Light bulb button on the left side of the clock repeatedly to select the ok to come out of bed color. (4 color options: Orange, Purple, Green and Red) Note: at this point you can adjust the brightness of light by pressing the Light Adj. button, there are 3 brightness levels. 7. Once the light color is selected press the Alarm button to save the alarm settings. 8. Your Ok to come out of bed alarm/light is now set. If you do not want to set a stay in bed light, press the alarm button one more time and the clock will display the current time, with the ok to come out of bed alarm time shown above the current time. If you want to program a stay in bed light than proceed to the next section. 7

SETTING THE STAY IN BED LIGHT 1. After pressing the Alarm button in the previous steps, the alarm time will be displayed at the top of the screen, with OFF in the center of the display. (See Image 8.) 2. Press the Light Adj. button to turn on the stay in bed light alarm. The Stay in bed alarm time will be shown in the center of the display. Note: 8 This is the time in which you would like the clock to light up (Red) to let your child know that it is still too early to get out of bed. 3. Push the Hour & Min buttons to set the time for the stay in bed light to turn on. 4. Push the Big on the left hand side of the clock to select what color you want the clock to light up for the stay in bed light alarm. (There are 3 color options: Orange, Red, and Purple; Green was already used by Ok to come out of bed.) 5. Once the time and color have been set push the Alarm button. Now both the Ok to come out of bed, and the Stay in bed in light alarms have been set. The current time will be displayed in the center of the display with the ok to come out of bed alarm time shown above the current time. Note: The stay in bed alarm and light will be saved, you will not see it on the screen. If you go back into Alarm setting to check, your stay in bed time setting will be erased and you will need to reprogram the timing. SILENCING THE ALARM AND SNOOZE FUNCTION When the alarm goes off you have two options 1. Turn the alarm???????? Big Bell button on the clock s right side. 2. To Snooze the alarm, press the Big Light Bulb Button on the clocks left side, this snooze the alarm for 10 minutes. To Cancel a snooze at any time, press the Big Bell Button on the clocks right side TURNING OFF THE ALARM SETTINGS The "OK to Come out of bed and the stay in bed light alarm can both be turned off completely so there is no alarm, or the stay in bed light alarm can be turned off leaving the OK to come out bed alarm still active. TURNING OFF ALL ALARM SETTINGS 1. Open the cover to the Control Panel and press the Alarm Button. The the and the alarm time at the top of the display will disappear, and the current time will be shown in the middle of the display. (See Image 9) 2. Now all alarms have been turned off, to turn the alarms back on simply press the alarm button again. The the and the alarm time at the top of the display will reappear. The Alarm is turned back on now. NOTE: If Alarm button is held down for more than a brief second, it will lose the saved alarm settings. 8

TURNING OFF ONLY THE STAY IN BED ALARM LIGHT 1. Press the Alarm button for 2 seconds, the and will start flashing. Press the Alarm button 3 times, then press the Light Adj. button 1 time. 2. The Word OFF will be shown in the center of the display. 3. Press the Alarm button 1 time to save the alarm setting changes. The Current time will be displayed in the center with the bell icon and alarm time shown at the top of the display indicating the OK to come out of bed alarm is still on. (See Image 10) NAP SETTINGS This clock has a nap time timer, making it easy to set an alarm for nap times without having to change the existing alarm settings. SETTING THE NAP TIME TIMER 1. Hold down the Nap button for 2 seconds, the bell settings clock icon will flash and 1:00 will appear in the center of the screen. (See Image 11) 2. Push the Hour and Min buttons to select the length of time for the nap timer. (Between 1:00 and 2:00 Hours), when the time has been adjusted press the nap button to save the nap timer and to select the ring type. 3. Push the Big Bell Button on the clocks right side to select the ring type for when the nap timer counts down to zero. (There are 2 ring options: Slow Ring, Quick Ring) Note: At this time you can adjust the volume of the ring, by pressing the Light adj button. There are 3 volume options. Once you have selected the volume, press the Alarm button again, to move to the light selection. 4. Press the Nap Button to Save the Nap Timer Settings STARTING THE NAP TIMER 1. Open the Cover to the Control Panel. 2. Press the Nap Button, The Bell Icon Alarm Clock icon and the selected timer will show up on the display, and the Timer will start counting Down. See Image 12 3. When the Nap Timer has counted down and the alarm has sounded, The Nap Timer and Alarm can be snoozed in the exact same way as the alarm. To Silence the alarm, press the Big Bell button on the clock s right side To Snooze the alarm, press the Big Light Bulb Button on the clocks left side, this will snooze the alarm for 10 minutes. To Cancel a snooze at any time, press the Big Bell Button on the clocks right side 4. To cancel the Nap Timer, press the nap button 1 time and the nap timer will be turned off and the current time will be displayed on the clock. 9

ADVICE MAINTAIN THE CLOCK The clock is not waterproof. Do not use the clock near the water. POWER SOURCE This product should be connect to a power supply only of the type marked on the outside off your USB wall/power adapter. 9 9 USB SAFETY This producut has the USB port and 1USB cable included. Please plug the USB cable into the USB port correctly to avoid loose connectivity. 10

BATTERY SAFETY The Batteries power source are 4.5V~5.5V, please do not over this value. Batteries are small objects and a hazard to children, must be replaced by an adult. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. Promptly remove dead batteries from the toy. Dispose of used batteries properly. Remove batteries from prolonged storage. Only batteries of the same type as recommended are to be used. DO NOT incinerate used batteries. DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire, as batteries may explode or leak. DO NOT mix old and new batteries. DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH) batteries. DO NOT recharge non-rechargeable batteries. DO NOT short-circuit the supply terminals. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult sup ervision. TROUBLESHOOTING 88 Clock does not turn ON or does not respond. 88 Clock makes strange sounds, behaves erratically or makes improper responses. 88 Sound becomes weak or the Clock suddenly stops working. Make sure batteries are correctly installed. Make sure battery cover is securely attached. Remove batteries and put them back in. Clean battery compartment by rubbing lightly with a soft eraser and then wiping with a clean dry cloth. Install new batteries. Push the reset button to restart the clock. If the problem persists, it may be caused by weak batteries. Please install a new set of batteries and try again. 11
