ABOUT YOUR PET CARE PROVIDERS: Each of our clients are assigned two PCPs. Your PCPs schedule varies from week to week, however you can always check your pet sitting schedule in Happy Go Mobile to see who is assigned on a particular day. We will only assign PCPs to visit your home if you have met them beforehand - if we hire a new PCP, we will arrange another Meet & Greet. In the event of an emergency and your pet care provider is not able to complete a visit your secondary PCP will provide back-up care. If neither PCP is able to complete a visit Paula will complete the visit. Our PCP have the ability to earn Badges based upon length of time they have worked for Paula s Pet Sitting and the training they have completed. Check our website for more information (coming soon)! Notify your veterinarian that Paula s Pet Sitting is authorized to bring in your pet for emergency treatment or emergent illness. Be sure to discuss payment arrangements and advanced directives as needed. We will always contact you or your emergency contact prior to taking your pet to the Veterinarian. Before you leave on vacation be sure to check over the schedule in Happy Go Mobile to ensure that it still reflects your pet care needs. WHEN WE ARRIVE FOR A VISIT: You will receive an email notifying you that your PCP has arrived. While doing the visit the PCP will be on GPS and you will be able to see their location (at your home) on a
Google map. When the PCP leaves you will receive another email notifying you that your sitter is leaving. The PCP may leave notes or pictures for you and you can view these by opening the second email link. Expect your PCP to arrive any time within 15 minute before or 15 minutes after the assigned time. If you do NOT get an email notifying you of a check-in, please send a text to Paula at 989-513-7937. It is possible that your PCP is delayed or that we are having technical difficulties. Paula monitors the PCP check-ins all day as well. HOW TO SCHEDULE: From the Happy Go Mobile website click on SCHEDULE and BOOK. You will be taken to the Request Appointment menu. Click on Select Service Category and choose a service. Fill in the required fields. Choose REPEAT if you would like the appointment to be repeated either at the same time every day or on certain days of the week etc. Scroll down to WHERE and click on your address. In the Notes from Pet Owner please leave notes to your PCP detailing exactly what need to take place at that visit (ie: feeding instructions, water plants etc). Please note that we will We ALWAYS read these notes prior to a visit. Please tell us your preferred time of appointment; we will do our best to accommodate your request as it fits into our daily schedule. VISIT TIMES: Your pet s visit will be scheduled as close to your requested time as possible. Please note, however, that we break our day into 4 quadrants: 1. Morning Visits take place between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. 2. Mid-Day Visits take place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. 3. Late Afternoon Visits take place between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. 4. Evening Visits take place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The exact time that your PCP is scheduled to arrive may change at any time, but the appointment will still stay within the requested quadrant. If an appointment is cancelled, the next visit in line is moved up in our day. If a last minute appointment is requested and we can feasibly fit it in, our appointment times may move 15-30 minutes earlier or later.
PAYMENT: Our weekly schedule runs Monday at 7:00 a.m. through Sunday at 9:00 p.m. Each Sunday night Paula will email you an invoice with the previous weeks services and charges. You may pay your invoice online by clicking on the Click HERE to view and pay for invoice in your email. You will be charged a 4% processing fee when you pay with debit or credit card. If you choose to pay by check you do NOT need to pay the processing fee. Mail checks to Paula s Pet Sitting, 2806 Gary Street, Midland Mi 48642. Please pay your invoice within 5 days. Please do not give your PCP the payment or leave payments on the counter. You are always welcome to leave tips for your PCP (clearly marked) on the counter, but we certainly do not expect that. OUR RATES (Please see website for complete details): A 15-minute home visit, $10. A 30-minute home visit, $12. A 45-minute home visit, $15 A 60-minute home visit, $20 Overnight House Sitting Rates start at $45 per night Surcharge Fees: 25% for holidays and last minute bookings (less than 24-hours notice) and 4% surcharge if paying by credit or debit card. Concierge Service is $20 per hour with a 1-hour minimum. CANCELLATION POLICY: (full charges will apply if visits are cancelled without due notice): We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for home visits or dog walks. We have a 7 day cancellation policy for overnight home sitting. We have a 2 week cancellation policy if you are scheduling during holiday or peak season dates. HOW WE ENTER YOUR HOME: We provide a key lock-box to each of our clients. This is similar to what Realtors use to get into houses that are for sale. At the Meet and Greet we ask you to provide two keys. One key will be placed in the lock box and then attached to a secure place on your property such as a fence, gate or door-knob etc. The second key will be stored in a
locked key safe in Paula Blanchard's office. Your PCP is the only one with access to the code. If or when you choose to discontinue services, we will return your key and then remove the lock box from your property. We don t mind having access via garage door codes, but we do still require the two keys as a backup in the event of a power failure. CONCIERGE SERVICE We offer a concierge service to our pet sitting clients. If we are in your home providing housekeeping services we will let your pet out into the yard, but otherwise concentrate on the services you request. The cost for all Concierge Services is: $20 for the 1st hour with a 1 hour minimum charge, $5 for each additional 15-minutes. To request concierge and housekeeping services please go to our website. Doggy Doo Pick-up: This services includes dog waste pick-up for up to 1 acre and up to 3 dogs. Temperatures must be well above freezing and no snow on the ground. Pet Taxi: We can pick up or drop off your dog from the groomer or the veterinarian. Litter Box Cleaning and Sanitizing: Litter boxes are soaked in a solution of 50% hot water and 50% vinegar. Then scrub it to remove any stubborn debris. We can also tailor it to your instructions. Toy Washing and Sanitizing: Hard chew toys are soaked in a solution of 50% hot water and 50% vinegar. They are then scrubbed to remove any stubborn debris. We can also tailor it to your instructions. Indoor plant, yard or garden watering service. You can let us know what you would like done. Key pick up or drop off service: Forget to give your pet sitter a key? Need it back at the end of your vacation? Need extra keys made? No problem! The $20 fee covers pickup and drop off of the key. Wait Service: We ll wait at your home, let the repair person in, wait until they are finished with their repair and lock up afterwards. We can also wait for package delivery, sign for packages and ensure they are placed safely in your home. Dry Cleaning Pick-up Service: We will pick up your items at the cleaners and deliver to your home. Vacuum Service: Return home to vacuum lines in your carpet! Housekeeping Service: If we are in your home providing housekeeping services we will let your pet out into the yard, but otherwise concentrate on the services you request. HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE CHECKLIST: KITCHEN: Wipe down countertops and cabinets (start at immediate right of the stove) Unload and load dishwasher Clean face of appliances (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher) Wipe down stove top Clean inside of microwave Soak stove drip pans and knobs in sink Clean inside and around sink Sweep and mop floor (go light on cleaning product in the water to avoid build-up) BEDROOMS: Remove clutter, dust, vacuum and tidy closets Return any furniture (chairs, diaper bins, etc.) that you moved to vacuum earlier Make bed Straighten Special projects: Organize your sock drawer? Fold laundry and put in dresser? Put a mint on your pillow? BATHROOMS: Remove rugs/wastebaskets Remove everything from tub/shower Place bath mat in tub/shower Wet tub/shower walls with warm water Apply tile and grout cleaner, allow to sit Spray/clean everything with all-purpose cleaner except toilet, vanity, shower/tub, mirror Fill bucket with 1/4 cup all-purpose cleaner and water to prep for floor cleaning Stand on bath mat and scrub tub/shower walls and door (use grout brush in-between tiles as needed) Apply tile and grout cleaner to tub/shower floor and scrub Clean shower rack/soap dishes Clean shower track or curtain liner Rinse off walls of tub/shower and dry with microfiber cloth Vanity: spray tile and grout cleaner in sink, soap dish Spray countertop with all-purpose cleaner Scrub sink Use grout brush along faucet and drain
Rinse the sink and your rag Wipe the vanity countertop Wipe down cabinet fronts Clean mirror: spray glass cleaner on soft cloth and buff Shine the faucets Wash the floor with solution in the bucket Allow to dry Replace rugs, bath mat and wastebaskets LIVING ROOM: Pick up clutter and consider recycling or donating unused items Dust from top to bottom with microfiber cloth Vacuum upholstered furniture and floor LAUNDRY SERVICE: Gather up laundry throughout the house. Take it to a laundromat - everything gets done in a few hours. Wash, dry and fold laundry. Return it to your house. You provide coins and detergent. Save wear and tear on your washer/dryer.
