Het pump Sesonl performnces in heting mode The Europen Ecodesign directive tkes into ccount the product's environmentl impct throughout its life cycle. It defines the mndtory energy efficiency requirements for wter chillers nd het pumps. Products tht do not meet the energy efficiency requirements set by the new directive will grdully be phsed out of the mrket, forcing mnufcturers to develop nd offer more efficient products. Like the ESEER relting to wter chillers, the new sesonl coefficient of performnce (SCOP) resulting from this new Europen directive is used to evlute the energy efficiency of het pumps. Until now, only the COP hs been used to mesure energy efficiency in heting mode. The COP ws exclusively clculted using single mesuring point, nd only took into ccount opertion t full lod, which did not represent the efficiency of the het pump over n entire heting seson. In order to compre the energy efficiency of products using different energy sources, the Ecodesign directive introduced new sesonl energy efficiency clcultion known s Ƞs (Greek letter et followed by the letter "s" for sesonl) nd expressed s percentge. For het pumps, the SCOP (finl energy) vlue is trnsposed to Ƞs (primry energy) by tking into ccount conversion coefficient of 2.5 which corresponds to the verge efficiency of the electricl production nd vrious corrections for the responsiveness of the regultion system (i = 3 for ir-to-wter het pumps). Het pump Vrible flow pump Description AQUACIAT CALEO is equipped s stndrd with vrible speed pump which sves you energy by djusting the electricl consumption of one pump to the ctul requirements of hydrulic system, in prticulr for oversized instlltions. Simple to use The "vrible speed pump" is fully integrted on the mchine, with full protection, nd, s it is instlled outdoors, there is no need for ny work in the mchine room. The ssembly is fctory-fitted nd pre-set on the unit; it is therefore quick to instll nd reduces the cost of work, in prticulr becuse there is no wter flow control vlve on the unit's outlet. The bility to djust the wter flow to your requirements mens tht the pump pressure cn be dpted precisely to the ctul pressure drop on the system when it is strted up on-site. SOFT START Operting principle - Opertion t full lod A regultor, with direct disply of the flow rte nd pressure on the Connect Touch screen, enbles one pump (pump A in the exmple below) to be dpted, by lowering its pressure P1 to the requirements of system P2, to obtin the optiml wter flow rte setpoint. For this reson, fns more powerful thn those on stndrd units re instlled, thus enbling mximum sttic operting pressure of 100 P to be obtined. Fn dischrge connection Ech fn is equipped with connection flnge nd flexible sleeve connector to llow connection to the ducting system. The qulity of the wter used hs direct impct on the correct nd complint opertion of the mchine nd its service life. This is prticulrly true if the wter used clogs or corrodes components or promotes the growth of lge or micro-orgnisms. The wter must be tested to determine whether it is suitble for the unit. It is lso tested to determine whether chemicl tretment is necessry nd will suffice to mke it of cceptble qulity. This nlysis should confirm whether or not the vrious mchine components re comptible with the wter they come into contct with on-site. Wrning: filure to follow these instructions will result in the immedite voiding of the unit's wrrnty. Lifting nd hndling The utmost sfety precutions must be tken when lifting nd hndling the unit. Alwys follow the lifting digrm on the unit nd in the instruction mnul. Before ttempting to lift the unit, mke sure the pth leding to its intended loction is free from obstcles. Precutions should be tken to protect them from freezing tempertures. Specil ttention should be pid to ensure sufficient free spce (including t the top) to llow mintennce. The unit must be plced on perfectly level, fireproof surfce strong enough to support it when redy for opertion. Noise pollution from uxiliry equipment such s pumps should be studied thoroughly. Potentil noise trnsmission routes should be studied, with ssistnce from n cousticl engineer if necessry, before instlling the unit. It is strongly recommended tht flexible couplings re plced over pipes nd nti-vibrtion mounts re fitted underneth the unit (equipment vilble s n option) to reduce vibrtions, nd the noise this cuses, s much s possible.
