CHRISTIE S EMPORIUM - who are we? In July 2014, the Christie Centre Inc purchased ADRA Sunraysia, renamed the business and commenced trading as Christie s Emporium. About the Christie Centre The Christie Centre is a not-for profit organisation focussing on growing capacity and ability for all people with disabilities. We have a number of sites around Mildura and we have a long history of providing support in the Sunraysia community. Christie s Emporium is a Social Enterprise what does this mean? A social enterprise is an organisation that applies commercial strategies to improve social impact rather than profits to shareholders. In our case any profits generated are reinvested back into the Christie Centre, so we can create additional support, training and employment opportunities for people with a disability.
