H-compact PLUS Highest output, reliability, efficiency, and modular cooling design: The new H-compact three-phase high-voltage motors are, in their class, unique and that worldwide. This is new for modular motors up to approx. 5 MW: The motor enclosure and the bearing brackets are made from a high-quality cast iron. This means that the H-compact PLUS is not only highly loadable, but they are also really compact, e. g. for refiners, mills, pumps or compressors. With shaft heights of 500 mm or 560 mm. With degree of protection IP 55 or IP 23. Water- or air-cooled. The advantages: All of the modules are perfectly harmonized with one another; it is easy to change from air- to water cooling. This means, you have precisely the power you require at your fingertips: H-compact PLUS is at home in any industrial sector, whether in the basic materials industry, chemical-, water treatment-, cement plants or in the process industry. Cooling modules Air-water cooler 1RN4 With H-compact PLUS with water cooling, you are always optimally equipped. It does not make any difference as to whether you are indoors or outdoors, whether there is significant dirt build-up, moisture or aggressive chemicals. The top mounted air/water heat exchanger guarantees the highest cooling performance, with minimum heat loss to the immediate environment. Air-air cooler 1RQ4 The alternative solution if no cooling water is available and for difficult ambient conditions: H-compact PLUS with top mounted air/air heat exchanger. A shaft-mounted fan on the nondrive end ensures an optimum cooling air flow. Open-circuit air cooling 1RA4 The cooling air is drawn-in, fed through the inside of the motor and discharged the efficient cooling without heat exchanger. 3 4

High output density is always guaranteed: The power loss is effectively dissipated through the inner cooling circuit and the winding temperature is evenly distributed. The cooling energy requirements are low. Reliable bearings long service life and low maintenance The antifriction bearings are reliable and precisely matched to the speed, load and other operating conditions. Sleeve bearings are also available for special applications. Well proven MICALASTIC insulation We use the optimum winding insulation: MICALASTIC offers high switching-, reversing- and winding voltage strength and therefore reliability and that over the long term. MICALASTIC has proven itself worldwide under the toughest operating conditions: In extreme coldness heat or moisture, in chemical plants or power stations. Resistance thermometer for additional protection When things get too hot, H-compact PLUS reacts immediately: Resistance thermometers integrated in the stator winding as standard, provide the perfect overload protection. Life cycle costs H-compact PLUS motors are energy-saving, require low maintenance and operate reliably over their long service lifetime. This is an investment which pays back after just a short time. H-compact PLUS motors are environmentallyfriendly and are recyclable up to approximately 98 %.
