SOLUTION The designer placed height adjust able t ables along the north and w est w all t o give students the option t o sit or st and w hile they w ork. This provides elevated heights in the classroom for a better sight view. The furniture specified allow s for multifunction collaboration for group w ork and teacher interaction w ith the students. , j o Color scheme was selected t o brighten up the room and t o provide inspiration for the students. The mobile w hiteboards allow the students t o move it freely around the room for further collaboration. HON Flock Mini Cube o The Dart, Wisp, and Smartlink tables have cast ers w hich gives the teacher the option t o transform the class into lecture st yle or break up into small groups. SOLUTION The designer used a combination of t wo different tables t o provide lecture and collaboration. The room holds 42 students. We ordered new Sit-On-It Lumin chairs w ith no arms so people of any size can fit in the chair and it was easy t o clean. SOFTWARE USED Autodesk Revit 8

CLIENT Executive Director PROGRAMMING The Nacogdoches Treatment Center is Alzheimer's day care facility that allow s families to drop off their loved ones for the day. The Treatment Center needed to expand by adding another building to allow their patients to permanently live there. SOLUTION Parking N s The designer's group did a lot of research on the needs for Alzheimer's patients. By creating a circular path in the middle of the building, this allow s the residents to w onder continuously. The designers added a hospice room in the south east side for residents that need extensive care. We placed the entrance to both buildings adjacent from each other for ease of access. Below, you can the resident added pictures of his family and personal memories. Full Bed BedroomA _.,-- '- / \ I l \ Dresser /' / ---{ Bathro~m B - - _J\ / ---~,... 0 Night Stand Shadow Box Resident Bedroom & Bathroom Between both resident's entrance bedroom door is a shadow box filled with their personal treasures and pictures of family and friends. Due to the fact that residents have a hard time remembering what their room number and location of their room, the shadow box will help them remember which bedroom is theirs. 12
Hospice Bedroom The bedroom was designed for patients that need extensive care and for their friends and family to be w ith them for their last moments w ith the resident. The room is equipped w ith a mini kitchen, a pull-out sofa for family or friends to stay the night, a chair and a hospital bed. The designer's placed an emergency exit for w hen the resident is deceased, the ambulance can park next to the building and discretely remove the body. Hospice Bedroom The bathroom is designed to meet A DA standards that includes a A DA stand-up show er and toilet. CLIENT Homeowner PROGRAMMING The resident needed assistance in choosing materials for their kitchen. They wanted a rustic ranch style theme t o go along w ith the rest of the house.
