Sample Student Responses for Writing a Conclusion SR1 Super Grow decreases the time the pea plant will mature by quite a bit. In container #1 the pea took 70 days to mature, but in container #2 it only took 45 days to mature. Only 2 seeds did not germinate because of experimental error in container #2 1 seed did not germinate in container #1 because of the same reasons. Therefor super grow decreased the time taken to mature and did not affect the germination of the seeds. SR2 Though one less seed germinated, the Super Grow did work faster. though not as fast as the manufactor claimed it would! Only 13 seeds with Super Grow, where 14 seed germinated with the normal soil, but that s too be expected. 1 November 6, 2004

SR3 Super Grow will help your plants to mature faster as shown in the chart, but makes little difference on the number of seeds that get germinated. The data showed that only one less pea seed germinated with Super Grow compared to only soil but the pea plant with only soil took 70 days to mature while the pea plant with Super Grow took only 45 dyas to mature, that is 25 more days in only soil than with the Super Grow. SR4 The use of Super Grow shortens the length of time it takes for pea plants to mature. It took 70 days for the plants to mature without the Super Grow and 45 days with it. This shows that Super Grow reduces the time. 2 November 6, 2004

SR5 The pea plants in the second container grew quicker than the ones in the first. It took them just a little over half of the70 days it took for the ones in container one. The hypothesis was stated to be true at the end of the experiment. The pea seeds that were in regular soil. Super Grow is able to make them grom quicker, so it should help other plants grow faster too. SR6 My conclusion to this lab is that although one seed did not germinate that s ok cause there might be some error in the lab. It did take only 45 days compared to 70 days to germinate. So it shows that Super Grow does work.. 3 November 6, 2004

SR7 Using Super Grow made one less pea seed germinate then just having plain old soil. Also, using super grow, it only took the pea plants 45 days to mature when normal soil took 70 days. SR8 It is clearly shown that Super Grow fertilizer did help to bring down the amount of days that a pea takes to mature. On the other hand, the soil that was not treated with Super Grow produced one more seed then that soil that was treated. Altogether, only one seed was lost but the maturing period was cut down by 25 days. Super Grow did help. 4 November 6, 2004

SR9 Although not all the seed germinated using super grow, the ones that did grew much quicker than the pea plants in container #1 using regular soil. SR10 Super Grow helped the pea plant to mature faster. Although one less pea plant germinated using Super Grow (14 without, 13 with), the plants matured at a faster rate. It took 70 days for the plants with only soil and water to mature, and only 45 for those treated with super grow. The seeds did mature faster, but the manufacturer was incorrect, because they took more than half the time an untreated plant took to mature. 5 November 6, 2004
