Primary Components Picture Contents Urethane Panel - It has excellent performance with poly-urethane panel to insulate the ambient by adopting variety thickness of 100t / 120t / 140t with injected urethane foam, so it performs relatively strong solidity. Eutectic plate - The eutectic plate is made by pressure shape of steel sheet in thickness of 1.2mm to keep 50mm space between the upper and the lower. After welding by seam welder, it is filed with the eutectic liquid. The plates begins to freeze at -33 and keep storing the frozen latent heat. Condensing Unit - It designs that the condensing unit is mounted on vehicle s chassis firmly and it is more convenient to maintain the unit than flush mounting type. Control Box - The control box works to provide electricity 380V/220V, 60/50Hz, 3 phase for overseas markets and protect electric circuit against electric leakage and shock. Moreover, it can adjust the temperature from -40 to -33 by installing digital thermostat.

3. Refrigeration Cycle In Focus : How Refrigeration Works Refrigeration in a cold van works in the same way as in a regular household refrigerator. The refrigerant passes through the compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator. Temperature and pressure changes created in this process cause the refrigerant to condense into liquid form and then evaporate. The low-temperature and low-pressure vaporized gas that comes out of the evaporator keeps the inside of the cargo box cool. What sets the cooling system in a cold van apart from that of a regular refrigerator is that is uses the cold vaporized gas from the evaporator to freeze the choric solution inside the eutectic plates, which is set to freeze at -33 by adjusting its concentration. The frozen coolant inside the eutectic plates keeps the cargo box cool during the day. Components Explanation Compressor Condenser Receiving Tank Filter Dryer Expansion Valve Eutectic plates Driven by a 380 or 220 volt 3-phase motor, the compressor pressurizes low- temperature, lowpressure vaporized refrigerant gas from the eutectic plates before sending it to the condenser. The condenser takes the high-temperature, high-pressure gas from the compressor and condenses it into liquid form by cooling it with external air. The receiving tank stores liquefied refrigerant gas from the condenser and runs it through a filter drier before sending it to the expansion valve. The filter drier filters moisture and impurities from the liquefied refrigerant gas. The expansion valve release the liquefied refrigerant gas from the filter drier into low-temperature, low-pressure vapors, which are sent to the eutectic plates The evaporation of the liquefied refrigerant gas through the expansion valve lowers The temperature by absorbing heat, which it turns freezes the coolant in the eutectic plates.
