Hospitals working to measure and adjust: Boston Medical studied audible cardiac alarms, captured data: Alarm Levels - Crisis, Warning and Advisory Findings Warning alarms sometimes missed. Staff often delayed responding Audible alarms with self reset capability were most excessive and contributed to clinical alarm fatigue.
