WINTER WARMER WITH BARRY DU BOIS As the chilly winter weather sets in, we find ourselves spending more and more time indoors, and that means it s time to cozy up your home for the cold months ahead. Sydney couple David and Susie, have the perfect house for summer, but during winter their living room is less than inviting. With a fireplace that smokes and no idea about season-appropriate styling, they have come to renovating guru, Barry Dubois, for some much needed help. Barry s plans for their living space involves more than a basic fireplace fix. He wants to bring it into the 21st Century with a brand new Bioethanol eco burner. Plus, our designer James Treble steps in to help out with some winter-inspired styling.

With over twenty years experience in varying roles within the building industry, he combines his years of experience, as well as his design and colour knowledge, to assist and guide his clients during the finishes selection and home design process. James joined The Living Room in 2012 allowing him to explore further his field of interior design through the design challenges which our very own Barry Du Bois threw at him.
