Introduction Novenco has developed a series of self-contained units for Hi-Pres Single-Pipe Systems serving ships accommodation with requirements up to 3.70 m 3 /s of airflow and cooling capacity up to 233 kw. High-Pressure Self-contained Units have the following advantages: All air handling equipment including cooling compressor has been assembled, built-in, and connected on a common framework ready to install on a rigid plan foundation. All units have been tested and are ready for start-up after connection of power supply, cooling water for the condenser, heating media supply for the heating coil and connection to the air duct systems. The High-Pressure Self-contained Units are available as two types and six different sizes. Type SCU-W Type SCU-W is available in 2 sizes with capacities up to 1.32 m 3 /s of air and 56 kw cooling. Type SCU-C Type SCU-C is available in 4 sizes with capacities up to 3.70 m 3 /s of air and 233 kw cooling. For local air conditioning in rooms such as Engine Control Rooms, Switchboard rooms, Workshops etc., a Low-Pressure Self-contained Unit type NovPac-R is recommended.
