Wiring safety for UK use only Important As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as follows: The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code: Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L] Plug fitting details (where applicable). The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be connected to the terminal marked [N] or coloured black. The wire coloured brown is the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or coloured red. On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal. Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly. The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you. Non-rewireable mains plug If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it from the mains - and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of its safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock. Warning: this appliance is double insulated. Product safety When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: 4 Check that the voltage of the main circuit corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating. Do not carry the appliance by the power cord. Do not use the appliance outdoors. USING YOUR APPLIANCE High Performance Toning Belt is a high-performance device that utilises palpitating movements in order to tone different parts of the body. It mimics conventional chiropractic treatment, thus not only performing integrated toning, but may also help to reduce stress levels and enhance general well being. BUTTON FUNCTIONS Mode Change Pressing the Mode Button allows alternation between modes Level Adjustment Pressing the High or Low Button sets the level respectively Rotation Direction Pressing the Direction Button sets the motion in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction (only valid in Manual Mode) Powering On/Off Press the Power Button OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Wrap the belt tightly around the body, adjust the size and fasten using the Velcro strap. 2. Attach AC adaptor to belt power connection point. 3. Plug the adaptor into the power outlet after making sure that the power outlet voltage 4. is compatible with that of the adaptor. Once connected a green light will show on the remote control. 5. Press the Power Button once to turn on. The unit will now run in Auto Mode unless the Mode Button is pressed to adjust it to Manual. 7 7

AUTO MODE (light shines green) The belt will automatically run from level 2 and will complete a cycle. The High and Low Buttons may be used to adjust the starting level. Minimum level = 1 / Maximum level = 5. MANUAL MODE (light shines red) The belt will start from the level it is set to (e.g. level 3). Use the High and Low Buttons to adjust. 1. When the High or Low Button is pressed a beeping sound will be heard. If no sound is heard the maximum / minimum level has been reached. 2. To change mode the Mode Button may be pressed at any time. 3. In Manual Mode the Direction Button may be used to alternate between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotations. 4. The unit may be stopped / powered off at any time. Alternatively a built-in auto timer will automatically stop the unit after 10 minutes of operation. CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE Should your Massage Pad become dirty, clean by using a damp cloth with a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use thinners, benzene or any other solvent, as this will cause damage to Massage Pad. Your Massage Pad is designed to be maintenance-free. No periodic servicing is required. do not attempt to disassemble the massages cushion. There are no user-servicable parts inside 8 8
