Introduction of members present at the meeting and on the phone, followed by a presentation by NFPA staff liaison Ken Holland laying out the process and purpose of the meeting. Minutes from the August 2015 meeting were approved as written. The committee began its work on laying out a work plan as to how to begin developing the draft document NFPA 451. It was decided by the committee that chapter titles will be Page 5 of 6 P a g e 1 2

established then each chapter assigned to a task group to begin to develop the text for said chapters. Over the next three days the committee, along with the guests that participated by phone, began to develop chapters titles that would outline the various areas that would be covered in the document once completed. Once that was completed the committee established task group chairs, of those present, and began to work on a timeline for future work that would be completed on each chapter. Those interested in joining a task group or if there is someone that should be sought out to join a task group, please get in contact with Ken Holland from the NFPA. The committee is looking to meet in mid November with draft text back to Ken Holland hopefully by early to mid October so the entire committee can work on a single draft document rather than individual chapters. The goal is to get all the task group work back to Ken Holland then he will compile it into one document and share that with the committee prior to the next meeting for review. This timeline will be contingent up on the success of the task groups and meeting dates. No new or old business to report on. Motion to adjourn followed and approved by the committee.
