AACC has been approved as an Education Partner of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD). Our comprehensive curriculum embraces the criteria required for AIFD accreditation. Completing the AACC Floral Design certificate helps prepare students for a successful career as a certified floral designer. For information on how to earn a continuing education certificate in floral design, visit www.aacc.edu/floraldesigner. For industry certification requirements, visit www.aifd.com. How do I obtain my certified floral designation (CFD ) from the American Institute of Floral Design through AACC? STEP 1: Successfully complete your AACC Floral Design certificate STEP 2: Attain score above 3.0 on a 5 point scale in the "Advanced Floral Design Evaluation" (FLR-333) class at AACC STEP 3: Complete the AIFD online test and receive an 80 percent or better within two weeks of receiving access to the online test Note: Classes listed are not restricted to students persuing the Floral Design certificate, but some classes do have prerequisites.
