ABOUT US Since our inception in 1984 Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltd has become a name synonymous with reliability, excellence and professionalism. In its infancy Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltd serviced Cape Town and the Western Cape with Dow Corning silicones and over the ensuing years we represented not only Dow Corning Silicones but GE Silicone, GE Bayer Silicones and Momentive Performance Materials. With ever changing market conditions and increased growth through new product offerings Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltd elected to make a bold move and become a local independent manufacturer of imported and locally branded products, some of which today have our own registered branded trademarks. As a market leader in our core product range we have evolved as a diversified manufacturer of silicone based chemical products and also as a re-packer of sealants. We use good manufacturing processes and procedure to manufacture chemicals such as silicone and nonsilicone based antifoams/defoamers and emulsions, repack silicone, acrylic sealants and cornice adhesives, grow liquid brewer s yeast and produce a range some 50 food safe and industrial cleaning chemical products that cover: floor and surface cleaning chemicals, sanitisers, washing powders, bleaches, hand cleaners and a range of auto care products. Today Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltd has national representation, with fully fledged branches in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. In 2015 we received our FSSC 22000 certification, making us one of only 15 000 companies worldwide. Allowing us to further exceed expectations through local supply and export. Our quality management systems include ISO 9001 customer satisfaction and FSSC 22000 Food safety management system. Our Food approvals include Kosher, Halaal and FDA compliances for the products and markets that Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltd serve.
