Apache 3-/4-row elevator harvester
AVR Apache elevator harvester, guaranteed capacity under difficult harvesting conditions! The best insurance for difficult harvesting seasons is sufficient harvesting capacity. The Apache offers an enormous harvesting capacity (3- or 4-row harvesting) at an affordable price. Under normal harvesting conditions, the 3- or 4-row Apache offers respectively a 50% or 100% increase of the harvesting capacity. The whole product cycle stays completely potato-friendly: reduced drop heights, application of the flexiweb idea, small inclinations of the hydraulically driven webs and a choice between cross rollers or axial rollers. Digging unit + digging web 3 x 90 cm 3-row single-piece digging unit with individual row depth adjustment via mechanical spindle (depth set by means of diabolo). Hydraulic counter pressure control can be set manually to minimize pressure on the rows. Optionally, the value can be set via the command screen. This averts unnecessary pressure on the rows, which prevents formation of extra clods under difficult conditions and with heavier soils. On sandy soil, the form of the row is maintained and the product enters the machine neatly. Six pulled, spring-controlled discs ensure smooth harvesting in the presence of lots of haulm. On both sides a large haulm intake roller is mounted. The digging web is 2,550 mm wide, hydraulically driven by means of PUR drive wheels, pitch dependent. Digging unit + digging webs 4 x 75 cm 2 x 2-row digging unit. In this 4-row version, the well-known digging units of the selfpropelled Puma+ have been used. It concerns two digging units that can be put to work independently. This means that it is also possible to harvest two rows. The sieving webs are 1,450 mm wide each and are driven by means of pitch-dependent PUR drive wheels. The depth adjustment and pressure control are set independently for each digging unit. On the outside of the digging unit, two large haulm intake rollers are installed. Eight spring-controlled, pulled discs are mounted, of which the two in the middle (in between the two digging units) can optionally be driven for a good intake in all conditions.
AVR makes 3- and 4-row harvesting possible under difficult conditions! Sieving webs + Flexiweb + haulm rollers After having passed the digging web(s), the potatoes cross 2 sieving webs (1,650 mm wide) and land onto the cleaning module. Special about the first Flexiweb sieving web is that the drop height between the digging web and this sieving web is hydraulically adjustable from the tractor. This means that depending on the conditions and the need for extra cleaning, the drop height can be reduced or increased. The Flexiweb ensures ultimate flexibility. In this first sieving web an agitator system is mounted which is driven hydraulically and can thus be adjusted from the tractor. A haulm separation module is installed between both sieving webs and between sieving web 2 and the cleaning set. This separation module consists of a turbine roller and a rubber haulm roller. The turbine roller ensures a smoother transition and a reduced drop height. The haulm roller guarantees an efficient haulm separation with help of haulm rakes (or haulm brushes). Cleaning module Cross roller set (CR set) For light to medium soil the machine can be equipped with a cross roller set. This module very efficiently removes loose soil, small clods of earth and small stones from the product flow. Thanks to its many configuration possibilities, the cross roller set can be used under various conditions. The CR set consists of 6 spiral rollers (PUR) and 6 plain rollers (steel). For the spiral rollers, the speed can be adjusted; for the plain rollers, both the speed and the rotating direction can be adjusted (separately adjustable per roller). Furthermore, the distance between the spiral rollers and the plain rollers can be adjusted, as well as the inclination of the complete CR module. Ample possibilities for perfect results under both dry and wet conditions on fields with light to medium soils. Cleaning module Axial roller set For heavier soils an axial roller set can be mounted. The module axial roller set consists of an axial roller table, the quality of which has amply been proven on the Puma+, followed by two more sets of cross rollers. Even under the most wet and heavy conditions, the axial rollers ensure a very efficient cleaning. Both the speed and the inclination of the axial rollers can be adjusted. Depending on the harvesting conditions, rollers with a 76 mm or 82 mm diameter can be mounted.

Extremely gently harvesting! Operation The machine is operated by means of an intuitive joystick and a control terminal in the tractor. All frequently used functions are operated by means of the joystick. The speed of the webs and axial rollers (or cross rollers) is clearly indicated on the control terminal. This ensures a clear view of the harvesting process. Optionally, an automatic mode can be provided for adjusting the speed of the webs in function of the driving speed. Elevator After the cleaning module, a separation unit has been mounted for an optimal filling of the elevator. The hydraulically driven elevator is 1,300 mm wide. The active accompanying side panels and the canvas ensure a product-friendly transport to the dumper. Naturally the flights are covered in aircushion PVC. This elevator has a very high capacity and comes with an extra boost function. The swan neck can reach the floor of the tipping trailer.
