Maintenance... The maintenance of any security system is crucial to the success of its prevention. EuroComs maintain hundreds of entry systems throughout the UK, helping to avoid system problems. Our standard contract includes 4- hours response to 50% or more system failure and 8 hours response to all other call-outs. We are flexible with our cover and can offer bespoke solutions to our clients; 24/7 helpline, 2-hours UK wide response and manned security, are add-ons to existing SLA s we have in place. Routine checks are carried out quarterly to ensure our systems are running smoothly.
Commissioning... EuroComs security based engineers and inhouse management teams commission our new installations independently with project sign-off. This ensures we perform thorough system checks on infrastructure, hardware, software and peripherals. Each one of our projects is issued a job pack which contains project design and test documentation. In addition, warranty information and as fitted drawings in CAD format. Our installations include fully manufacturer backed warranty and one years Gold maintenance.
Training... It is hard to believe that recent studies have shown that almost 25% end-users of access control systems have not received the relevant training. Case Study... Rotherham Council, South Yorkshire, UK The council put out a tender in 2011 for the installation and maintenance of a fully networked and centrally managed access control system. EuroComs were awarded the contract based on our proposal to use the Paxton Net2 System. Net2 is an advanced PC based access control solution which can managed hundreds of doors for up to 10,000 users. Net2 is one of the most economical access control systems on the market used for three main requirements; Central control, Flexible access permissions and Reporting.
Case Study... Rotherham Council, South Yorkshire, UK In total EuroComs installed 39 door controllers, with the system integrated to the School fire alarm system and building management system (BMS). When the fire alarm is activated, all the door automatically releases and BMS system shuts down heating, cooling and lighting when the last person leaves site. EuroComs trained the ICT staff how to use the system and manage the user fobs, codes and ID passes. Overall the installation was a success and EuroComs to continue to maintain the system on a 3 year contract.
