The range comprises two models, offering a choice of 2 W or W power handling capacity. The enclosres are made from alminm with ABS top and bottom covers and are available in charcoal (D) and white (L). Typical applications for these prodcts are: theme bars, msic restarants, theme parks, retail otlets, adio visal, boardrooms and offices, exhibition areas and presentation environments, fitness centre. Its excellent sond reprodction capability is attribted the sperb to the se of high qality driver components and crossover network design. A self restoring passive element protects the high freqency driver against incidental overload. A three way ceramic terminal block with screw connections sitable for loop-throgh wiring is located in the compartment in the base of the nit. An easy to install, strdy wall monting bracket is standard spplied. The same bracket can be sed in combination with the niversal floor stand LB 129/ for temporary installations. All models are spplied with a bilt in 7/1 V transformer with taps on the primary winding for fll power, half power, qarter power and one eighth power radiation. These taps are connected to a rotary vari tap switch located in the compartment in the base of the enclosre, to allow simple otpt power setting. A low ohmic connection is also provided on the vari tap switch. Fnctions Voice alarm Voice alarm lodspeakers are specifically designed for se in bildings, where the performance of Pblic Address systems is sbject to official reglations. The LB1 UMxE x are designed for voice alarm systems, and are EN 4 24 certified and compliant with BS 839 8 and EN 6849. Protection The lodspeakers have bilt in protection to ensre that in the event of a fire damage does not case failre of the connected circit. In this way, system integrity is maintained; ensring lodspeakers in other areas can still be sed to inform people of the sitation.
2 LB1 UMxE Premim sond abinet Lodspeaker Range onnections and safety The lodspeakers have a ceramic terminal block, thermal fse, and heat resistant, high temperatre wiring. The cabinets have a provision for internally monting the optional line/lodspeaker spervision board. ertifications and approvals All Bosch lodspeakers are designed to withstand operating at their rated power for 1 hors in accordance with IE 268 Power Handling apacity (PH) standards. Bosch has also developed the Simlated Acostical Feedback Exposre (SAFE) test to demonstrate that the speakers can withstand two times their rated power for short drations. This ensres extra reliability nder extreme conditions, leading to greater cstomer satisfaction, longer operating life, and mch less chance of failre or performance deterioration.
