Series 9000 Description The Series 9000 photoelectric sensors are designed to perform in the harshest of industrial environments. The sensor will withstand 1200 psi high-pressure washdown and IP69K, which is commonly found in the food and beverage industry. These sensors are available in both, DC and models. The DC models provide a NPN (sink) and PNP (source) output, while the models come in either SPDT relay or MOSFET output options. In addition to the standard output types, time delay, and diagnostic output models are also available. The time delay output sensor allows the user to configure and one-shot timer delays in 10 ms increments up to 15 seconds. The Series 9000 photoelectric sensors with diagnostic output are designed to provide a visual and electrical indication of a dirty lens condition. This is useful in applications where dirt and dust build-up on the optic lenses is expected. The Series 9000 intrinsically safe transmitted beam are designed to work in Class I, II, II, Div 1 hazardous locations when connected to an appropriate safety barrier. The sensor is also approved as a non-incendive for installation into Class I, Div 2 hazardous locations without the need for a safety barrier.
