Monitronics Napco 1000e Quick Reference Guide Monitoring and Service call 1-800-447-9239 Arming With STATUS light steady enter User Code, ARM light should turn on indicating system is armed If display shows a flashing P system was armed with a zone open Disarming / Silencing an Alarm Instant Doors Zone Bypassing User Codes Enter 4-digit Code If silencing alarm turn off siren with User Code then hold 9 for three seconds to stop any flashing display Before or after arming system press 4 for 3 seconds STATUS light will rapidly flash and all entry doors will now be instant All zones return to normal when system is disarmed. Press [B/A] + Zone to bypass (1 to 6), BYPASS light will turn on, arm system normally When system is disarmed all bypassed Zones will return to normal. Press 8 for 3 seconds (keypad will beep) Enter User Programming Code (ARM, STATUS and BYPASS lights flash and keypad rapidly beeps) Enter User to add or change (1 to 8) Enter new 3 to 4-digit User Code When finished press [B/A] twice to exit To erase a code follow above steps but press [B/A] twice instead of entering a code Door Chimes Press 5 for 3 seconds, repeat this to turn off chimes Smoke Detector Reset Trouble Light Panic Buttons Silence siren with User Code Press 9 for 3 seconds, smoke detector should reset With any internal problem ARM, STATUS and BYPASS lights will flash and a number will appear 1 = Power Failure: System is operating on Backup Battery 2 = Low Battery: Backup Battery is low and needs to either recharge or be replaced. 3 = Failure to Communicate: System cannot communicate with Monitoring Station Press 9 and # for Fire, [*/P] and # for Police, [B/A] and # for Medical Note: You may have to arm and disarm system to turn off siren after using Panic Buttons
