All wash carts are designed with manifold side ports that connect to the output from the circulation pump and drying system. The side mounted connection provides open shelves with unobstructed space for loading. Pressurized cleaning solutions, pressurized rinsing solutions and heated drying air is delivered through to the rotary spray arms in between each shelf for effective cleaning and drying in each level. A top and bottom rotary spray arm inside the chamber provides complete coverage. The spray arms have removable end caps for easy cleaning. Each wash cart is mounted on wheels for easy, ergonomic movement during loading, unloading and transfer. Shelves and spray arms are removable without the use of tools to accommodate trays of varying heights to maximize the load amount. Integrated lumen connector ports make it possible to process mixed sets with minimal cannulated instruments in the standard wash cart. Most wash carts also feature integrated spray arm docking plates that eliminate the need of an additional cover plate to maintain good circulation pressure when the spray arm is removed. The flexibility of the system means that fewer carts are required, which saves money and space in the facility.
