Components UTC Aerospace Systems uses product brand legacy endorsers to market its legacy series of products. At left are two examples, identified with their key components. Product brand legacy endorsers Product brand standards Product brand legacy endorsers Product brand legacy endorsers are graphic lockups that combine our historic logos with the words UTC Aerospace Systems. Use legacy product brand endorsers to market our products only in brochures, sell sheets and trade show graphics. Do not use product brand legacy endorsers in advertisements. Never use legacy endorsers on actual products such as hardware where certified product plates are utilized. Before changing any type of product naming on certified plates, check with your SBU or business unit legal representatives. Examples of the approved endorsers are shown at left. Product brand legacy endorsers are always reproduced in full color on a white background. Product brand legacy endorsers must not be redrawn or recreated from separate graphic and type elements. The correct reproduction of the signatures can only be achieved by using the official master artwork files available on the UTC Aerospace Systems Brand Center. NOTE: When showing two or more product brand legacy endorsers together, they should be sized so that their UTC Aerospace Systems modifiers are the same size. When a legacy endorser is added it is displayed in a smaller size. Here is the formula to determine the correct size relationship. Take the cap height of the words UTC Aerospace Systems in the business group brand and call it X. Size the tag line in the product brand legacy endorsers so the cap height does not exceed 1/3X. NOTE: This is the maximum size that the legacy endorser may be sized to in relation to the UTC Aerospace Systems company brand. Product brand legacy endorsers may be sized smaller than these specifications when appropriate. A 3.5 point cap height is the smallest the product brand modifier may be sized to. When the product brand legacy endorser needs to be smaller than this, it is set in type in this manner (Legacy Name) products from UTC Aerospace Systems. Do not redraw or recreate legacy endorsers from separate graphic or type elements.
