Damping elements: Damping elements are elastomers and therefore UV sensitive. To extend the lifetime, the damping elemants have been UV protetected. Standard Engine protection: The oil engine is covered by a robust engine protection. Standard rotation: The slewing gears are strong and durable, self-locking and have a particularly high torque and holding power. Rotation is possible in every working condition. Innovative Hydraulics: The hydraulic system is combined in a single block, which is located directly on the rotary joint. The innovative arrangement of the hydraulic components are easily accessible. DOCUMENTATION SOIL CONTROLLER A FRD compactor - FCP serie - When there is damage detected there is a protocol that can be read out via a usb port, if and when they have been working in the critical frequency range. Information that will be stored: Time of day Actual frequency below the critical frequency Consistent, moist soils are optimally at a low frequency compaction to lack the capillaries of the soil to pull the water upward. Non -cohesive soils are compacted at a high frequency. With the Soil Controller you can set the optimum frequency for each floor. The optimum frequency of the floor is displayed via a lamp at the compressor. The excavator operator can control the pressure of the compressor to work in, tuned to the optimum frequency range of the floor. Purpose Compaction of soil and granular materials. Compaction of trenches. Compaction of embankments, slopes, and dykes, where ordinary machines cannot be used. Detach frozen and sticky materials (coal, etc.) Driving of sheet piles (metal poles, fence posts, guard rails, etc.) FREQUENCY CONTROLLER Buildings can be severly damaged when the compacor is not handled properly. It is especially dangerous in case of using the compactor in therange of the natural frequency of the building and the soil. The end of the critical frequency of the floor or the building is reached quickly when : - The driver presses the compactor to hard. - The soil is moist and heavy Who tells the excavatordriver how firmly he can press the excavator so it does not come into the area of dangerous natural frequency? Mini USB Port This is why we have developed the frequency controller. The actual frequency is conitniously measured. As long as the frequency is okay, the compactor will light up a green light. That is called, eveything is okay. When you get near the dangerous natural frequency range, the red light will light up. Now the excavator driver knows he has to relieve the compactor untill the red light goes out and the green lights up again. When the set-off frequency is reached, the red light will start flashing. This way the excavator driver can check at anytime if the compaction is carried out properly. FCP series
