MIKSKAAR PROFESSIONAL POTTING SOIL MPS SERIES >>MPS1 Substrate for young plants, seedlings MPS1 is a fine-structure mix for germination, for trays and blocking, for manual and automatic filling. This is the mix for growing young vegetable plants and ornamental plants from seed. The substrate is made of 100% natural milled peat moss of Estonian origin. According to research peat is the best growing medium because it has high buffering ability, it is weed and pest free. The peat moss has been screened, the particle size is 0-6mm. This substrate includes in majority black peat, for tenaciousness and for inhibiting water evaporation; and a small part of white peat for root aeration and better water absorption. The structure of the substrate is suitable of automatic filling of trays. ph of the substrate is adjusted to 5.2-6.0. For better rewetting, the substrate includes wetting agent. This substrate can be used in greenhouses, as well as for open-air plant production. The substrate includes starter fertiliser, level of fertilisation is average to meet the needs of a very wide choice of plants, this substrate has proven to be suitable for vegetable young plants and also for ornamental plants. Substrate is usable for a year, water absorption and rewetting ability is stable. : tomatoes, sweet peppers, capsicum, cucumber, parsley. The product is available in big bales and small uncompressed bags of 50L, 70L. All volume measurements are done according to the EN 12580 standard. MKS SERIES >>MKS1 Substrate for young plants - Mikskaar standard product MKS1 is a universal propagating substrate for young plants. This very fine mix is suitable for cultivation in trays and small pots. Specially recommended for young ornamental plant production. This is a peat-based substrate, no peat replacements have been used. Peat is an irreplaceable growing medium for plants due to its excellent water resistance, buffering ability, porosity, it is pest and weedfree. This substrate is made of very fine neutralised white peat, decomposition rate H2 H4. White peat has very good water and air capacity ensuring vigorous growth of roots and thus plants. Includes short term NPK fertilizer with microelements and wetting agent for easier initital irrigation. The fertilisation level is low, suitable for a wide range of vegetables and ornamental plants, even the most sensitive ones. The ph level has been adjusted to 5.2.-6.0. In order to guarantee maximum outcome and density, please water the peat before use during the opening of the bag, this enhances the process of decompression. The product is available in compressed small bales and also big bales. Suitable for trays, up to 240 eyes, also for small pots. Palletized ready products are Sensitive ornamental young plants, seedlings Trays, pallets N (mg/l) 65-140 P2O5 (mg/l) 75-170 K2O (mg/l) 120-270 EC ms/cm 0,7 Structure (mm) 0-6 Organic matter content 7-8 times its own weight of dry substance Litres Kg

This is the mix for growing young vegetables and ornamental plants. The substrate is made of 100% natural milled peat moss of Estonian origin. According to research peat is the best growing medium because it has high buffering ability, it is weed and pest free. The peat moss has been screened, the particle size is 1-10mm, ensuring good aeration of roots and water absorption. The structure of the substrate ensures equally successful use in 60-hole trays and in small 9-12cm pots. ph of the peat is adjusted to 5.2-6.0. For better rewetting, the substrate includes wetting agent. The substrate includes starter fertiliser, level of fertilisation is average to meet the needs of a very wide choice of plants, this substrate is for ornamental plants and vegetables, for young plants and for repotting. In order to guarantee maximum outcome and density, please water the peat before use during the opening of the bag, this enhances the process of decompression. The compression ratio of our bales is high, 2:1, therefore the decompression process needs more care, but the storage and transportation is less space consuming. During the winter months the peat products might be frozen, make sure before use that the peat is not frozen. : chrysanthemum, pelargonium, begonia, petunia, euphorbia, hydrangea, tomatoes, sweet peppers, capsicum, cucumber, lettuce, basil. Peat is an irreplaceable growing medium for plants due to its excellent water resistance, buffering ability, porosity, it is pest and weed-free. The structure of this peat is medium, thus ensuring high porosity and also higher than average air porosity in the substrate. This substrate is made of neutralised white peat, decomposition rate H2 H4 and black peat, decomposition rate H5-H7. White peat is for higher organic matter content, better structure, longer stability of particles, black peat for tenaciousness and better manageability. MPS2 includes short term NPK fertilizer with microelements and wetting agent for easier initital irrigation. The fertilisation level is high, suitable for a wide range of vegetables and salt tolerant ornamental plants. The ph level has been adjusted to 5.2-6.0 The product is available in big bales and small uncompressed bags of 50L, 70L. Palletized ready products are shipped in sea containers or trucks.
