Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions. Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician. For Residential installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code. DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT! This fixture is intended to be connected to a properly installed and grounded UL listed junction box. WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply. Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance. Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information. Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements. General Wiring Diagram Connecting driver to AC source supply: Fixture Operated using any voltage from 120-277VAC. Dimming controlled via IEC 0-10v Sinking current 1. To access the SMPS unfasten the screw shown in Figure 1. 2. Connect electrical power cable conductors coming out of the MaxLED Highbay s driver housing as follows: a. Brown to Black (Live) b. Blue to White (Neutral) c. Green to Green (Safety Ground) 3. Make all connections according to NEC. Use only UL listed wiring connectors and UL listed wiring. 4. Use only 105C listed wiring. 5. Be sure to confirm that all connections are secure and fasten the SMPS case enclosure. 6. Contractor or qualified electrician is responsible for connection to source or branch power, installation of cord strain relief, conduit fittings or other means in accordance to applicable NEC, UBC, or local building and safety codes. 7. Use of rigid conduit connection directly to gear box is not recommended. Page: 2

Mounting Instructions: Basic Hook (MLLHP100USD12/x / MLLHP150USD12/x) Before installation, ensure if power supply is disconnected. Cables must be connected in accordance to instruction and proper standing rules. Fixture comes fully assembled and pre-wired for easy installation. The fixture may be used with a dimmer, dimmer must be IEC 0-1v sinking type. If fixture mounting utilizes a ceiling mounted flange check the condition for any erosion or foreign substances etc. *Note: Make sure chain/cable is rated for 4x over the hanging load. Use (2) D-Ring carabineer s to use with a safety chain (provided by others) if one is required. If mounting directly to a ceiling mounted flange (As shown below) ensure the condition of the flange is suitable to withstand the suspended load. *Note: Mounting chain, cable, or stems are not included.
