Dryers and coolers We are experts in industrial drying and cooling. For over 45 years, we have designed, manufactured and installed dryers and coolers for a broad range of applications, continuously improving our technology. Our goal is to provide drying and cooling solutions with very high availability rates which allow us, at the same time, to ensure the product quality desired by our customers. Because our equipment is tailor-made, our solutions are optimized from the energy consumption, maintenance cost and environmental impact perspectives. Fluidised Bed Ingetecsa s static fluidised beds are engineered to produce high evaporation rates with relatively short residence times. Since there are no moving parts and particles don t touch each other, an extremely careful mechanical treatment can be ensured. This equipment offers significant process flexbility and adaptability. Our tailor-made fluidised beds allow for a variety of arrangements and combinations with other equipment. According to the customer s requirements, Ingetecsa can supply a wide range of fluidised bed combinations: air-tight, expanded, self-emptying, ATEX, solvent-recovering, with internal exchangers, multi-stage, equipped with combined drying and cooling areas, among others. Belt Dryer The Ingetecsa Belt Dryers are characterised by the absence of dead zones and total accessibility for their maintenance and cleaning. Multiple types of belts, cleaning systems, feed systems, etc. allow us to offer customised solutions. Our equipments has outstanding thermal efficiency thanks to internal gas re-circulation. The dryer can be subdivided into multiple climatic zones, individually adjustable, so that perfect control of the profiles of heating and drying speeds of the product is achieved. Reacting Flash The Ingetecsa Flash Dryers and Coolers stand out for their excellent product treatment, low energy consumption, and minimal operation and maintenance costs. Our Flash Dryers/Coolers are adapted to each process and different product properties. In addition, Ingetecsa has engineered distinguishing constructive components, such as a centrifuge feeder, as well as a particularly refined aerodynamic design. This arrangement ensures an outstanding dispersion of the product with relatively low pressure drops, minimizing energy consumption. Heat and mass transfer between solids and hot gases is extremely rapid. Pneumatic Conveying 3

Spiral Flash The Spiral Flash Dryer developed by Torftech is a highly efficient convective dryer which combines the advantages of a flash dryer with those of a fluidised bed. Short residence times combined with powerful turbulent flows ensure gentle product treatment, in addition to high evaporation speeds. Furthermore, it is possible to build exceptionally compact units thanks to the fast heat and mass transfer. The Spiral Flash Dryer has further outstanding specifications: total absence of moving parts, easy maintenance, precise process control, and good thermal efficiency with heterogeneous products as well. Rotary Steam Tube Bundle Dryer The specialised design of this equipment offers large interior drying surfaces and optimal heat transfer rates between the thermal fluid and the product. In comparison with conventional rotary drums, the great advantage of the tube bundle dryer consists in the fact that no heating gas comes in direct contact with the product. Nearly all the steam expelled from the dryer consists of water evaporated from the product. This greatly reduces the flow of exhaust fumes and therefore investment in gas purifying equipment. This aspect is even more relevant when dealing with particularly odorous or harmful components for which an expensive wet gas washing/treatment is necessary. Rotary Drums Easy to operate, the Ingetecsa Rotary Drums have a simple and robust design that adapts gently to fluctuations in flow and product properties. According to process requirements, rotary dryers can work with direct as well as indirect heating. The internal equipment is capable of adapting to the product rheology, distributing it homogeneously and achieving maximum capacity while avoiding obstructions. This results in an optimised heat and mass transfer. We offer a wide range of feeding, metering, sealing, and conveying elements, which connect the integral apparatus of a specific processing arrangement. Multi-Chamber Cooler Ingetecsa s Multi-Chamber Cooler is capable of cooling big flows, handling product temperatures of up to 1000 C. It withstands high temperature differences and absorbs fluctuations in product flow and properties. This multi-chamber cooler is a rotary drum which is sub-divided into sections where the product flows surrounded by a water chamber. Thanks to the effects of rotation, the product is transported and simultaneously thin layers of water are distributed over the cooling surfaces. This sophisticated water conveyance, as well as the design of the product chambers, allow for the use of non-refractory fabrication materials. is achieved by water at atmospheric pressure. Exhaust Gas Treatment At Ingetecsa, we have developed de-dusting equipment of high efficiency. This equipment is essential for the proper operation of convective dryers. Our engineering department has dedicated great efforts to improving its designs and has now achieved excellent results. The Ingetecsa cyclones can capture particles of a very fine size which normally require more complex and expensive equipment. The Venturi Gas Washer of Ingetecsa is designed for the washing of gases of industrial applications in severe conditions and is robust and easy-maintenance equipment. High Efficiency Cyclones Due to their constructive simplicity, low cost and robustness, cyclones are the mostly-used dust collection equipments. They can operate at any temperature, are fire resistant and require no maintenance. For more than 45 years, Ingetecsa has been gaining experience in industrial and pilot plants, enabling us to develop continuous improvements of our cyclones by optimising their geometry. Our simulation models allow us to accurately predict the fractional yield outcomes according to the properties of the gas and the dust to be separated. This way we can guarantee surprisingly high yields with relatively low pressure drops. De-dusting Ingetecsa Cyclones offer outstanding fractional yields in combination with low pressure drops. Venturi gas Washer The Ingetecsa Venturi Gas Washer is used for dust separation, chemical reaction or destruction of unwanted compounds as well as for condensation of fumes. Highly efficient gas washer recommended for dust separation. Our special design differentiates saturation and condensation areas, creating a cyclonic effect during mist elimination. Due to the concentric layout of the nozzle and shell, Ingetecsa Venturi Gas Washers are particularly compact. Solids Handling Our aim is to provide solutions generated by particularly complex products and processes or to those that require thermal treatment for which standard equipment is not suitable. Among our apparatus stands out the self-cleaning rotary valves, double shaft paddle mixer/granulator, lump breaker or special screw conveyors. Ingetecsa s engineering department adapts the equipment to the product and processes of each client, thereby providing custom-made solutions for each individual case. Double Shaft Paddle Mixer/Granulator The Double Shaft Paddle Mixer/Granulator engineered by Ingetecsa is a custom-made equipment. This robust and easy-to-maintain machine is able to produce 1.5mm-to-4mm-diameter granules. Standard capacities range from 5m3/h to 200m3/h. Larger capacities for special cases can also be manufactured. Being tailor-made, the Ingetecsa Mixer/Granulator suits each customer s requirements and product properties. Special enhancements include the heated or cooled troughs, spray nozzles, airtight finishings, as well as design specifications to reduce maintenance requirements. Continuous Mixing and/or Granulating Self-cleaning Rotary Valves The Ingetecsa Rotary Valves are robust equipments which are particularly recommended for handling products with difficult rheology. Their design is always adapted to the specific properties of the product. Our low-maintenance rotary valves for special applications include the remarkable scraped rotary valves (with mechanical pocket emptying), recommended for adherent or pasty products. The standard operational range of Ingetecsa Scraped Rotary Valves includes pressure differences of up to 60 mbar, product temperatures of up to 250 C and product flows of up to 300 m3/h. Fabrication materials, shaft sealing and other construction features can be customised according to special requirements of each application. Dosing Sealing Special Screw Conveyors and Lump Breakers Our aim is to provide solutions to particularly complex products or processes for which standard screw conveyors are not appropriate (tb cambiar al catalog general). All our special screw conveyors are suitable for heat treatment processes. Due to extended experience handling all kinds of solids with dryers and coolers, Ingetecsa has managed to develop a comprehensive equipment line of lump breakers. These machines are engineered to break up lumps and agglomerates generated during some processes with specific products, obtaining reduced product sizes to be handled while avoiding milling effects.
