Important Care & Maintenance Instructions This Cooktop is made for only use with Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Use the Cooktop for cooking purposes only. Do not use the Cooktop for drying clothes, towels etc. To avoid damage, do not place charcoal on the burners. For the hose / tube, use a quality rubber hose only, suitable for use with LPG stoves. Do not use a plastic vinyl hose as it may be inflammable. The rubber hose should not touch any part of the Cooktop or be kept underneath it. Ensure that there is no inflammable substances kept near the Cooktop. While in use a immediately after use, do not touch the burners and pan supports as they get very hot. The gas control knobs have to be pushed & subsequently turned for use. Do not apply excessive pressure to the gas control knobs. Ensure that the holes in the burner do not get clogged due to spillages / overflow. Warranty is not valid if LPG cooktop converted in PNG mode without prior information to Planet Care Centre / authorised person of Planet Home Products Pvt. Ltd. Product is installed, used and maintained strictly in accordance with instruction provided. The service/respire will be provided at the company s service center/planet care center. The company reserve the right to retain any part of components at the Planet care center/branch offices or its workshops and shall effects respires/replacements or components as its sole discretion. WARRANTY Planet cooktop is warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months. Associated Appliances Ltd undertakes to repair or get the repaired all cooktops are designed for domestic usage only. The warranty does not apply to : Glass Top, surface coating, plastic parts, bakelite parts, and rubber/nylon parts. Normal wear and tear of the parts. Damages resulting from accident, miss handling or negligence at customer end. The product is returned at your cost to our office/planet care centers along with the stamped & signed cash memo and warranty card. Warranty is not valid in case if there is any modifications / alteration of any nature is carried out or it, serial number is deleted/defected/altered. Replacement of spares such as knobs, gas jets and gas cock assemble are not covered by this warranty, as these parts require periodic renewal. Make sure the room / kitchen, where the Cooktop is placed, is proper ventilated. It is advisable not to use the Cooktop for long period in a small room or in closed spaces without proper ventilation. When the Cooktop is not in use, be sure to OFF, not only the Cooktop, but also the main gas valve of the gas cylinder. Check the gas hose regularly for wear & tear or leaks. If you notice any wear & tear on the hose, immediately replace the same with a new hose. Switch off the fans in the kitchen when the Cooktop is in use. For better & longer service, keep your Cooktop clean at all times. The Pan Supports & Drip Trays (According to model) can be removed for cleaning purposes. Never attempt to dismantle or repair the Cooktop at your own. In case of any difficulty or problem contact your Gas Dealer or Planet Care Centre to have it addressed.
GAS LEAK If gas leak is felt through gas smell or otherwise, immediately close the main gas valve of the cylinder & any of the burners if they are already in ON position on the Cooktop. Open up all windows and call your Gas Supply Agent / Gas Dealer immediately. Do not switch on any electric lights or light a match or use a lighter when a Gas Leak is detected / suspected. NOTES : Parts illustrated in this use and care manual are indicative only, parts provided with the product may differ with illustrations. This Cooktop is intended for household use only. Specifications are subject to changed without any notice. OFFSIM Presently Company offered two models with self ignition features i.e. AUTO IGNITION & PUSH AUTO. To light the Burner in model with AUTO IGNITION features, press the Burner Knob, and turn it to the Anti clock wise direction to the ON Position. Burner would light it up automatically by doing this. To light the Burner in models with PUSH AUTO features, press the Ignition Button, and simultaneously with other hand press the Burner Knob (according to choice which Burner you would like to light) and turn it in the anti clock wise direction to the ON Position. Selected Burner would light it up automatically by doing this process. NOTE - If the Burner does not light up the first time, repeat the process. Ignition feature may not work if the Electronic ignition is Wet. Take adequate care to ensure that any liquids are not spilled onto electronic ignition. KNOB OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ON ON ON SIM SIM Figure 2 COOKTOP ASSEMBLY On opening the Cooktop carton, make sure that all parts of the Cooktop are included as mentioned in to packing slip. Attach the rubber legs to the Cooktop by turning it upside down and screw them into the opening provided. Place the drip trays (According to models) into the slots provided around the burner. Place the Pan Supports around the burner ensuring the studs provided at the bottom of the Pan Supports are aligned with the holes provided on the Cooktop body for holding the Pan Supports in place. Push the rubber hose onto the hose connector i.e. nozzle as far as possible (See Figure 1). Use only standard rubber hose meant for LPG stoves. Ensure that there are no sharp bends or sharp angles formed on the rubber hose when attached to the hose connector, before you light the Cooktop,
ensure that there is no Gas leakage at the joint, by applying a little soap solution to it. If there is any leakage, some bubbles may be noticed at the joint. Ensure this is taken care of by tightening the rubber hose with the hose connector properly. When choosing a place for you Cooktop in the kitchen, ensure that you provide a clear space of at least one foot at the sides and three feet above the Cooktop. The LPG Cylinder should not be kept in a horizontal position when in use. GAS HOSE CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS / NOZZLE HOSE Figure 1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Open the main gas valve of the regulator. Push the gas control knob inwards and turn it anti-clockwise to the ON position (See Figure 2). Immediately switch on the Gas Lighter or place a lighted match stick close to the top of the burner. To reduce the flame, turn the knob anti-clockwise at SIM position. As a result of air in the gas hose, the burner may not light up for the first time. In such a case, turn the Gas control knob back to the OFF position and try again. Once the burner is lit, place your vessels up on the Pan Supports provided with the product. To put off the flame, turn the gas control knob clockwise back to the OFF position. Remove the vessels from the Cooktop after switching off the burner. As a safety precaution, keep the main gas valve of the gas cylinder closed when you are not using your stove.
