We custom make and fit windows and doors to order, never off-the-shelf. Metal Windows provides a dedicated personal supervisor on each new installation to give you peace of mind and to act as you go-to person for any queries or concerns for the duration of your installation or renovation project. We understand that the process can be stressful and disruptive. Your supervisor will be your liaison and will make sure you have a clean, safe, dust-free environment. Five year warranty. In the unlikely event of any malfunction of our windows or doors due to faulty workmanship or defective materials within a period of five [5] years from date of installation, we undertake to repair such windows and doors. This warranty does not extend to fair wear and tear, damage by reason of an Act of God, fire, forced entry, civil disturbance or any abnormal or unreasonable use or misuse of such windows and doors. Please note, our warranty is not valid unless full payment has been made within the stipulated timeframe.
The patented Metal Windows BarsDamp system combats damp associated with our severe Cape Town weather. We install BarsDamp in all our installations, new and replacement, to mitigate against water ingress. The system also allows for the in-situ repair of leaking Aluminium windows. TRIPLE CHECK We check your frames for quality in the factory and prior to coming on site. Frames are thoroughly checked a final time by the Metal Windows service team before installation. FAQ S Q. Why buy Steel vs Aluminium MW products? A. Our Steel windows offer very thin frame lines allowing for a lighter looking framework. Steel is much stronger than Aluminium. Exterior Steel frames must be galvanized in the western cape. The finish on the steel window is normally hand painted onsite and is therefore not as polished as a powder coated Aluminium product. This is part of the natural charm of a steel window product. All the steel window hardware is brass which can be either polished or chrome plated. Q. Why would I buy Metal Windows Aluminium windows? A. A powder coated Metal Windows Aluminium windows is an extremely low maintenance product. Finishes are slick, colour choice is wide. Aluminium windows come equipped with twin weather seals between the opening casement and the frame which make them water and air tight. Aluminium products come from factory to site prefinished and pre glazed (with the glass already in the frame). Q. What are the benefits of working with Metal Windows for your new windows and doors?
