Sucker Rods The sucker rod, an essential part in the rod production system, is used to connect the pumping unit on the ground and the oil well pump down in the well.products comply with Specifications of Sucker Rods (API Spec 11B) and other related standards, and have acquired the authorization to use Official API Monogram.The company produces K, C, D or HL sucker rods with various specifications complying API s requirements. Sucker rods and polished rods of D spec. Class are designed for service in more severe conditions and have a higher fatigue strength in corrosive-active medium. The used method of hardening is heat treatment with subsequent surface shot blasting. The polished rods can be additionally covered with corrosion-resistant chromium coating. All rods are manufactured on the up-to-date foreign and home equipment and are made of high-grade alloy steels melted in the electric furnace. In the process of production the bar passes full ultrasonic incoming inspection and the finished rods are subjected to comparative fatigue test in a corroding medium according to a special procedure.

If no sinker bars are present on the bottom of the rod string in deep, deviated, or big bore pumps, the rods will buckle, bend, and go into compression, causing rod parting and pump failure. sinker bars can Increase production by keeping the rods in tension and making the total rod stretch decrease, which allows the pump to be more efficient. Our sinker bars are manufactured from special quality hot rolled carbon manganese steel. Sinker bar dimensions and tolerances confirm to API Spec. 11B latest edition and AISI steel products manual. Sinker bar has a reduced on one end for elevator seating and lifting. Pin lank are machined and dimensions gauged. Pin threads are cold-formed to strengthen the thread from fatigue. An inhibitor is applied to each pin and thread protector installed. An oil soluble coating protects sinker bars from atmospheric corrosion in storage. Sinker bars are bundle to prevent handling damage during transportation.
