TO CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE IN THE HOUSE The THERMOSTAT and temperature controller is on the wall in the dining room, next to the pantry. Tap the face of the THERMOSTAT until it turns green. Tap the TEMPERATURE CONTROL up or down to make the house warmer or cooler. In summer months we will have the unit set to COOL; in winter months it will be set to HEAT. In shoulder months it will be turned off. To activate the furnace or air conditioner, tap the function box on the lower left of the screen and then select HEAT, OFF or COOL. (Don t select EMERGENCY HEAT; we only use that during extreme cold events.) If you just want a FAN, push the FAN button on the upper left of the unit. Check the ceiling grates on the bedrooms upstairs if you want the room to be warmer or cooler. We usually keep them closed in the summer and open in the winter.
