Kilometre Taşlarımız Dalgakıran was founded in 1965 in Istanbul Karakoy by Omer Dalgakıran. 1965 Started manufacturing of reciprocating compressors. 1969 Company moved to Topkapi Istanbul. 1979 New single&double stages and medium pressure reciprocating compressors are started to manufacture. 1982 Second generation took over the management. 1987 2003 As a result of rapid growth in both domestic and export market, 2nd factor with 8500 m 2 area was opened. 2004 HERTZ Kompressoren GmbH was founded in Germany. 2005 DALGAKIRAN UKRAINE LLC, was founded in Ukraine. 2007 DALGAKIRAN R&D department was established to invest in technological products. Oil free compressor production was started. 2008 The 3rd facility with 6000 m² area added. 6

Besides the Topkapı facility, IMES facility is opened in Istanbul. 1988 All production facility moved to IMES. Production area increased to 2500 m 2. The first screw compressor was manufactured. 1991 6000 m 2 Sancaktepe factory was builded. Low Pressure piston compressors for cement industry were started to manufacturing. 1998 Both Screw and Piston compressor manufacturing capacities increased and series were completed. Booster compressors for PET blowing application were started to manufacturing. 2000 ZAO DALGAKIRAN was founded in Russia. 2001 2010 3 stage medium pressure piston compressors and screw mobile compressors started to manufacturing. 2015 Dalgakıran celebrated its 50th anniversary as one of the leading compressor manufacturers in the world. 2017 DALGAKIRANIHI join venture is established with IHI to manufacture centrifugal compressors in Turkey. 2017 HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN USA Inc. was founded in America. 7

These dryers are designed to supply clean and very dry compressed air for critical applications.prefilters and afterfilters are supplied along with Dalgakıran Heatless Air Dryers to keep the air stream clean and maintain the integrity of the desiccant medium. A very reliable electronic controller makes sure that the dryer operates perfectly all through the service life of the dryer. >PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The twin tower design allows for continuous adsorption of water vapor from compressed air by using the hygroscopic desiccant with high crush strength and a high surface / volume ratio. Drying is accomplished by passing compressed air through one desiccant bed adsorbing moisture while the other is being simultaneously regenerated with the expanded purge air. Regeneration of desiccant is accomplished without the use of heat. The wet bed is dried by diverting a small portion of the super dry air from the outlet at near atmospheric pressure. The purge flow rate is adjustable to suit the specific outlet conditions (desired dewpoint). The super dry air flows in a counter direction through the wet bed, sweeping all the water vapour previously absorbed by the desiccant. DA ensures pressure equalization in the twin towers prior to switching. This prevents line surge and minimizes desiccant attrition. The tower being reactivated will be gradually repressurized at the end of its reactivation cycle before switchover take place. Purge flow and depressurization are in downward direction, counter flow to the drying air flow. > PLC IS STANDARD DA Desiccant Dryers has a very reliable electronic controller that makes sure that the dryer operates perfectly all through the servicelife of the dryer. Touch screen PLC is capable of showing the cycles as well as the valves which operate on real time. It also shows the dew point (if applicable). User friendly multilingual PLC helps the end users to understand the operation system and field issues easily. > ACTIVATED ALUMINA Dalgakıran uses a mixture of adsorption media in its heatless range of desiccant dryers to achieve consistent dewpoint. Activated Alumina, Molecular Sieve and Silica Gel are used in varying ratios depending on the application. 16

A centrifugal blower and high efficiency heater eliminates the use of valuable compressed air to be used for desiccant regeneration. Prefilters and afterfilters are supplied along with Dalgakıran Heated Air Dryers to keep the air stream clean and maintain the integrity of the desiccant medium. Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) type Nitrogen Generation system is used to separate and enrich Nitrogen from Oxygen employs CMS (Carbon Molecular Sieve) for adsorbent. Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) adsorbs Oxygen and Water Vapor molecules under certain pressure while allowing Nitrogen to pass through.
