During his 17 years at e-types before starting MILLION, Jens developed award winning visual identities, typefaces, and branding concepts. Also, Jens and Claus designed most of the furniture at the e-types design offices together. CLAUS JAKOBSEN Designer I Product Director I Founding Partner After graduating as a wood craftsman in 2000, Claus Jakobsen went to The Danish Design School The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated from the Furniture Design line in 2005. He spent the next seven years working for HAY overseeing design and production at the HAY design office. Before founding MILLION, Claus joined Muuto in 2012 as Furniture Development Manager where he extended his expertise in design, sourcing and logistics. Designed by co-founders Jens Kajus and Claus Jakobsen in 2018, PLENTY is an elegant symbiosis between the hard industrial frame and soft, dreamy pillows and cushions, which together compliment and contrast each other in a perfect balance. The raw frame, which demands attention when one enters the room, is an essential part of the design, embracing downy cushions to invite its owners and users to settled in for hours spent in good conversation. The PLENTY Sofa thus unites clean industrial lines with optimal comfort. Emphasis has been placed on genuine craftsmanship and impeccable quality, which shows in every aspect of the design: from the solid shape, beautiful upholstery and well-chosen fabrics that ensure both a comfortable and aesthetic experience. For AW18 PLENTY comes in a curated collection of selected textile and metal frame colours in our favourite black, red, green, grey and blue colour schemes. Challenge the prevailing Nordic style or go for a colour that fits any decor - choose a black red frame with dusky rose textile, black green matt frame with light green melange textile, dark blue matt frame with blue-grey textile, go for the bright grey tones, a denim blue or an army green version. The thin, round steel frame with powdercoated surfaces comes in either a standard black or our new curated selection matching the textiles. The upholstery and cushions are made in either wool or viscose fabrics from Kvadrat or leather from Camo, while other colours and fabrics can be made to order. Let it stand freely in the room and enjoy the beautiful details of the respectively 2.15 and 2.75 meter long modular sofa from all angles. Despite its length, it fits the entrance of even the smallest apartment, as it can be separated. Whether you go for the 3 seater, 4 seater or add the pouf, there is no excuse for not gathering the whole family, leaning back and enjoying the evening.
