Installation Planning Installation Instructions The Dacor integrated hood liner (IHL) is constructed with non-combustible stainless steel material. The IHL dimensions and design make it an excellent component for any custom hood structure. Dacor offers two integrated ventilation system products (IVS1 and IVS2) which conveniently install on the pre-mounted installation lugs around the opening at the top of the hood liner. Plan the installation so that all minimum clearances are met or exceeded. Dimensions shown provide minimum clearances, unless otherwise noted. NOTES: Dacor IHLs have no electrical parts. #8 mounting screws (not provided) are required to install the IHL. The length and type must be determined according to the application (mounting material). See the diagrams below to determine the quantity required for the model being installed. For proper installation of the complete IHL/IVS custom hood ventilation system, the installer must follow the installation information in the IVS Installation Instructions. Follow all electrical requirements specified in the IVS Installation Instructions. The IVS is attached to the IHL using the 8-32 cap nuts and lock washers provided with the IHL kit. Quantity varies according to kit. The IHL is designed for vertical on center ducting applications only. 21" (53.3 cm) A Model IHL30 IHL36 (A) 27" (68.6 cm) 33" (83.8 cm) 21" (53.3 cm) B Model IHL42 IHL48 IHL54 (B) 39" (99.1 cm) 45" (114.3 cm) 51" (129.5 cm) 4" (10.2 cm) 4" (10.2 cm) IVS1 mounting studs (6 places) C L IVS2 mounting studs (12 places) C L IHL mounting hole (4 places) 13 7/16" (34.1 cm) IHL mounting hole (6 places) 13 7/16" (34.1 cm) IVS1 integrated ventilation system IVS2 integrated ventilation system Figure 1: IHL30/36 Overall Dimensions Top View The IHL30 and IHL36 liners are designed for installation with the 600CFM IVS1 integrated ventilation system.
