SANITARY SLUICE SANITARY SLUICE In places where production zones and clean zones of a food production plant meet, it is required to install a sanitary sluice. Choosing the right solution depend on individual needs of the food processing plant. Informations like size of the plant, the type of production process, employees equipment allow for the most optimal selection of washers, hands and shoes disinfection stands etc. DOSANOVA products allow for modular composition of sanitary sluice elements. For small food plants the best solution is single-phase sluice (washing and disinfection). Small single-phase double-acting sluice. SANITARY SLUICE For big food plant used is multi-phase sluice (washing, drying, disinfection, dripping). Expanded single-action, multi-phase sluice dedicated to the large frequency passage of employees with high boots. Boots are washed in 5-brush washer (cat. no 550501F), dried (cat. no 550703F/S), then disinfected (cat. no 551602) and redried (cat. no 550703F/S). Hands washing, drying and disinfection is made in equipment mounted on the sluice. Automatic dispensing of disinfectant and washing liquids and automatic devices switching. Return of the production zone is through 5-brush washer (cat. no 550501F) and access stand (cat. no 551401). Passage double-phase double-acting series sluice (cat. no 552206), sensor cell control. SANITARY SLUICE Operating principle Technical parameters Workers walk from the clean zone into the production zone through a footwear disinfection station (3). Shoe soles and uppers are disinfected in a container filled with disinfectant up to the level of 3 cm. The disinfection liquid is supplied automatically. Hands are disinfected in a special unit (4). Both hands placed simultaneously in unit openings are sprayed with a small amount of quick-drying disinfection liquid (ca. 3 ml). Disinfection liquid fed through spraying nozzles simultaneously releases the revolving gate by 1/3 of the turn, which allows one person to pass. Only simultaneous spraying of both hands with the disinfectant starts the gate revolving cycle. Lights inform the employee on a blockade (red lamp) and on a permission to pass (green lamp). Employees return from the production zone to the changing room through a set of integrated automatic footwear washers. 1.
