Archaeology Grim s Ditch project plan June 2018 - Setting survey with drone to record scheduled monument setting a few days with non intrusive site survey Summer 2018 - Trial trenches (1 or 2) in the woodland of the monument. Followed by further trenching (up to 70) on land around the ditch to assess monument and surrounding area Autumn 2018 - Tree clearance Late 2018 to Spring 2019 - Excavation of the ditch and possible further excavation of area around monument if needed
