Suzy Hoodless set up her eponymous interior design consultancy in 2000, after five years as interiors editor at Wallpaper* magazine, from its inception. Now a fixture in House & Garden magazine s top 100 interior designers, Suzy s interiors have caught the attention of private and commercial clients on projects as diverse as a beachside house in Barbados to a Lodge in the Scottish Highlands, as well as houses of all scales in London. Suzy s reputation as a designer has seen her feature regularly in publications including FT How To Spend It, The New York Times, Elle Decoration, The Sunday Times, The World of Interiors, House & Garden, Country Life and the Evening Standard. Interior designer and hunter-gatherer, Suzy Hoodless has emerged as one of London s leading innovators in the design field, challenging the traditional and rather formal practice of decoration. As interior consultants for Stanhope, we have built on the heritage of the iconic Television Centre development. THE COLLECTIONS Drawing on 20 years experience in the interior design industry, Suzy Hoodless has created four exclusive collections for Television Centre, inspired by its rich heritage as well as our insider knowledge of the best in design. Working with leading manufacturers, we have curated collections that reflect the quality of the architecture, interiors and vision of Television Centre. It is an incredibly historic site with amazing provenance. This has been at the forefront of our design approach; integrity and quality without being slavish to the 1950s origins of Television Centre. We have also looked to the contemporary architecture of the apartments by AHMM, a skilful reinvention of the mid century original. We have approached the Television Centre collections with the same design philosophy we adopt for all our projects; a timeless mix of design that is also supremely comfortable and practical. DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT Eleanor Pritchard Eleanor Pritchard is a small hands-on weave studio based in Deptford, south east London. Their aesthetic is clean and contemporary with a nod to English mid-century design, making them a perfect fit for Television Centre. Their fabrics draw inspiration from traditional British textile crafts, re-interpreting the vernacular for a contemporary audience. They design and sample all their fabrics in their London studio and weave them in the British Isles; west Wales, the Isle of Bute and Lancashire. 16 17

His third Type 75 desk lamp for the lighting company draws its inspiration from the work of Dutch painter Mondrian. THE HAYES COLLECTION SLEEPING DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT Barber & Osgerby Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded their design studio in 1996 after graduating with Master s degrees in Architecture from The Royal College of Art. From their first studio in Trellick Tower, a short distance from Television Centre, they designed their first piece, the Loop Table, in 1997. Much of Barber & Osgerby s early work involved the folding and shaping of sheet material, influenced by the white card that they had used frequently in architectural model making. Barber & Osgerby s research-led practice has developed collections for Vitra, B&B Italia, Cappellini, Magis, Flos and Established & Sons, whilst also producing edition furniture and oneoff works including the London 2012 Olympic Torch. THE PROCESS ARRIVAL PACK 1 Send us your apartment number and preferred collection. 2 We send you a layout, inventory and request a deposit. 3 Meet with a member of the team for a consultation creating a bespoke look for your apartment, choosing from the available fabrics and finishes and add-on packages. With each of the furniture collections comes a Suzy Hoodless Television Centre tote bag with essentials for you in your new home. 4 Orders will then be placed and the furniture put into production. 5 The balance will be required prior to delivery. 6 We will oversee the installation on a specified day. All pieces will be unpacked, assembled and styled by our team ready for move-in. 7 You will receive an aftercare pack with care instructions and information about the key pieces you have purchased. 38 39

ACCESSORIES BESPOKE TELEVISION CENTRE PRINTS At the heart of Television Centre is the building itself, photographed by Lee Mawdsley and translated into rugs and wall hangings by Vanderhurd. These iconic views of Television Centre have also been made into a collection of limited edition prints to add to your art collection. 52 53

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT Vanderhurd Internationally acclaimed design studio, Vanderhurd, has been creating bespoke rugs, carpets, dhurries and textiles for over 35 years. Based only a mile away from Television Centre, they work from studios in London s Portobello Road, as well as further afield with a studio on New York City s Crosby Street. We have worked with Vanderhurd to design and create bespoke rugs and wall hangings for Television Centre, drawing on photographs of the 1950s architecture for inspiration. The iconic view of the Atomic Dots becomes a rug, the view of a satellite dish is woven into a striking wall hanging. The long-standing working relationships established with skilled artisans in India who hand craft its designs, results in the studio offering only the best quality. 54 55
