Training Course Young Active Europeans second activity Krzyżowa, Poland 12/02/2017 19/02/2017 About project INFO PACK Project Young Active Europeans, organised by Serbian NGO Eko Mladenovac, is two stages (Training Courses) project Firs TC was from 13-20 November in Topola, Serbia Second one will be from 12-19 February 2017 in Krzyzowa, Poland Second activity of our project will be held in a beautiful and relaxing rural area, Krzyzowa Village, which is situated around 60km far from Wrocław in Lower Silesia region, Poland. "Young Active Europeans" organised by Serbian NGO EKO MLADENOVAC it consist two training courses implemented in the late autumn of 2016 in Serbia (Mladenovac) and Poland (Krzyzowa) in February 2017. The project brings together 12 youth NGOs from different European countries willing to explore the idea of youth social and political activism. We will also promote recognition of European citizenship and practical exercising of citizens rights by young people through non-formal education in 12 European countries. The project consist two training courses for youth workers and young leaders. Training Course I was dedicated to exploration of citizenship, its place in EU strategies and documents. Participants learned how to promote European support systems fostering youth activism (including Erasmus+ ). They was working on methods engaging youth into activities exploring their skills and triggering local activities. Training Course II the second training course will be organized in cooperation with partner organization from Poland, TDM2000 Polska. This TC will dedicated to exploration of soft skills as a key to youth engagement and social and political activism, as well as to development of practical skills needed to run local actions promoting active citizenship. We will also explore deeper the idea of European citizenship. Participants will learn different methods fostering youth skills and confidence in the process of developing and implementing local activities, engaging young people for the benefit of their local communities.

Participants Each partner will send 3 participants. There is no age limit, but participants should be over 18. Venue Training course will be organized in Krzyzowa Village, which is situated around 60km far from Wrocław in Lower Silesia region, Poland.

Accommodation Project covers 100% of accomodation and food costs. Participants will be accomodate in Krzyzowa Village, which is situated around 60km far from Wrocław in Lower Silesia region, Poland. Travel Guide Host organization will organise a Shuttle Bus which will bring us together from the meeting point in Wrocław, Poland to the venue of the project, so in that case the best for you is to find a plane/bus/train from your home city to Wrocław directly. Shuttle Bus Wroclaw Krzyżowa It will be organised around 6 pm, so please try to look for travel options that allow you to be in Wrocław before that time. Shuttle Bus Krzyżowa Wrocław On the way back the bus will leave around 09/9.30 am, so please try to book your connections from Wrocław after 12/1 pm. Wroclaw /vrots love/ Wroclaw is located in the south-western part of Poland and has many possible flight connections with other European cities (airport.wroclaw.pl/en/) Other suitable airports are Krakow (krakowairport.pl/en/) or Warsaw (lotniskochopina.pl/en/passenger). It is possible to get from Warsaw, Krakow, Berlin, Prague, Katowice to Wroclaw by train (rozklad-pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en?) or by coach (e.g. www.polskibus.com/en).

The meeting point will be conveniently located in the city centre of Wrocław, near the train and bus stations. Cost of the transfer Wrocław Krzyzowa Wrocław (10-15 EUR) will be included in your reimbursement forms and deducted from the total reimbursement you will receive. General Travel Information - important, please read! The organisers will reimburse of your travel costs from your home city to Krzyzowa and back. Organisers will reimburse 100% of eligible travel costs up to the limit. Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon full attendance in the training programme and presentation of the original tickets with boarding passes and receipt/invoices. Missing tickets will not be reimbursed. Reimbursement will be done via bank transfer, after project report is approved. Money transfer will be in EURO, regardless of the currency indicated on your ticket and receipt/invoice. Note: Please DO NOT BUY any tickets before approval of the organisers Note: If you plan to travel outside the official project dates you need approval by NGO Eko Mladenovac, first. In case of longer stays or indirect travelling (holiday travel etc.) there is no chance of reimbursement of travel costs. Please note if you bought your ticket in your local currency which might be different than EUR, we will calculate your travel costs according to the exchange rates from official European Commission web-site for the month of ticket purchase http://ec.europa.eu/budget/contracts_grants/info_contracts/inforeuro/index_en.cfm Limit for participants from Poland is 0 Limit for participants from Czech Republic is 180 Limit for participants from Serbia, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo is 275 Limit for participants from Turkey is 360

What should you bring? Information materials about your organisation, photos or report from your former projects and other things, which will help you to present your organisation during NGO Fair. Some national drinks, snacks, brochures, music, posters, traditional garments and any other suitable materials for the intercultural evening which will be open also for neighbours of the guesthouse. You need to know Polish national currency is Zloty (Polish Złoty, PLN). 1 EUR is approximately 4,40 PLN; Exchange rate at the airport is usually lower than in the city so try not to change big amount of money there. Polish word for an exchange office is KANTOR.
