GlaxoSmithKline, King of Prussia, PA - Performed a power usage audit on the entire data center including all normal and critical and HVAC distribution systems. Oversaw the design and construction for the installation of a 1500kW generator; a 450kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and the upgrade to the HVAC systems to accommodate the additional UPS heat output. Shire US Manufacturing, Owings Mills, MD - Oversaw and managed the multi-phase, electrical design and construction including a 13.2kV, medium voltage, service entrance, switchgear line-up; new 480 and 208 volt switchboards and power distribution; lighting, fire alarm, tele-data, security, and associated electrical systems including a fit out of new warehouse and expanded cgmp space. GMP space included new V-Blender; new dispensaries and new material air lock and gowning areas. Abbott Laboratories, Whippany, NJ - Lead Electrical Project Engineer on a project that involved the relocation of a Sevoflurane filling line from a North Carolina facility to the Whippany, New Jersey facility. Project included new power distribution and control wiring for a new assembly line operation and new power distribution to the HVAC ventilation system. Coordinated closely with the Process Engineer to provide all of the necessary process control conduits, cables and HVAC interfacing as required. Assisted and oversaw lower level designers in the understanding and utilization of client technical standards, and procedures during the execution of this manufacturing project. Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia, PA - Lead Electrical Project Engineer on a project that involved the conversion of an orthopedic operating suite (OR) to a catheterization operating suite. Project included new equipment branch and critical branch power distribution; new power distribution to the OR blood pumps; new line-isolation monitors (LIMS) and new power distribution to the HVAC ventilation system. Coordinated closely with the Architect to provide all of the necessary OR lighting, control conduits, cables and HVAC interfacing as required. Assisted and oversaw lower level designers in the understanding and utilization of health care technical standards, and procedures during the execution of this critical health facility project. B.
