Pumps The Ciris pumps are the new generation of borehole submersible pumps in continuous technological development of Fortis. Around 32% of all potable water in Russia is extracted from groundwater sources with the help of borehole submersible pumps made by HMS Group. A wide range of sizes (from 4 to 12 inches) helps us to offer the most suitable pumping solutions for our customers to save energy, reduce operating costs and lower the impact on environment. Simple installation and operation Easy disassembly and assembly without special tools RESIDENTIAL WATER SUPPLY INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS AGRICULTURE IRRIGATION PRESSURE BOOSTING GROUNDWATER LOWERING Usage of electric motors of equal diameters with pump heads provides operating pumps without cooling shrouds Resistantance to unstable voltage and corrosion New generation of electric motors made by HMS Group Energy efficient
Features, Advantages, Benefits 7 1 2 3 Long service life 1. Stage casings are made of thick stainless steel AISI 321 tubes for maximum structural rigidity. 2. Straps are made of stainless steel AISI 321. 3. Patented design of impellers reinforced with stainless steel notably increases durability (fig.1). 4. Pump and motor shafts are made of stainless steel AISI 420. 5. Not sensitive to unstable voltage motors. 6. Impellers with rudimentary vanes reduce axial force acting on thrust bearing of electric motor. (fig.2). 7. Built-in non return valve to prevent water hummer. 8. Sand guard for motor protection from solid particles. 9. Reverse thrust bearing prevents rotor s vertical movements. 10. Rubber membrane to compensate liquid thermal expansion. 11. Mechanical seal isolates internal cavity of motor from pumped water. 12. Water lubricated thrust bearing ensures trouble free operation. Temperature sensor (optional). fig.1 4 13 6 14 8 5 11 16 17 19 15 18 Reliability 13. Octagonal bearings for sand removal. 14. Built-in filter on the pump inlet. 15. Motor casing made of stainless steel AISI 321. 16. Radial bearings of advanced composite (graphite-based) materials with helical grooves for better lubrication. 17. High temperature insulated winding wire (up to 100 С) is used. 18. Increased length of stator and rotor enhance reliability of electric motors and also improves cooling conditions. 19. Squirrel cage is made of copper for increased reliability and efficiency of the motor. Easy maintenance Rewindable electric motors. Keyed coupling. NEMA coupling is available. Motors are filled with a liquid, allowing contact with potable water and be stored at low temperatures to -30 C. Motors can be filled with clean fresh water. 100% of pump units are tested on factory. fig.2 9 12 10
