Pushthis button when remote controller is on, the system will automatically revert backto the previous settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speedlevel and sleep feature(if activated). If pushing more than seconds,the system will automatically restore the current operation settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleepfeature(if activated ). How to use the buttons SETTEMP. CL 3 SET 3 Auto operation Ensure the unit is plugged inandpoweris available.theperatiindicator onthe display panelofthe indoorunit startsflashing..pressthe MDE button toselectauto..press the UP/DWN button to set the desiredtemperature. Thetemperaturecan be setwithin arangeof F~8 FinF increments. 3.Pressthe /buttonto start the air conditioner. NTE. In theauto mode, the air conditioner can logically choose the mode of Cooling, Fan, and Heating by sensing the differencebetween the actual ambient room temperature and the setting temperature on the remote controller.. In theauto mode, you can not switch the fan speed. It hasalready been automatically controlled. 3. If the Auto mode is not comfortablefor you,the desired mode can be selectedmanually. How to use the buttons 3 SETTEMP. DRY SET Dehumidifying operation Ensure theunit isplugged in and poweris available.the PERATI indicator on the display panel of the indoorunit starts flashing..press the MDE buttontoselectdry mode..press the UP/DWN buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature can be set within arange of F~8 Fin Fincrements. 3.Press the / button tostartthe air conditioner. NTE In the Dehumidifying mode, you can not switch the fan speed. It has already been automatically controlled. Cooling /Heating/Fan operation SHRT MDE Ensure the unit is plugged in andpoweris available..pressthe MDE buttonto selectcl, HEAT(cooling &heatingmodels only) or FANmode..Press the UP/DWN buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature can be setwithinarange of F~8 FinF increments. 3.Pressthe FAN button to selectthefan speed infour steps-auto, Low, Med,or High..Pressthe / button to starttheair conditioner. SHRT MDE NTE In the FAN mode, the setting temperature is not displayed in the remote controller and you are not able to control the room temperature either. In this case, only step, 3and may be performed.

SHRT SET TEMP. CL SET MDE Timer operation Press the SET button can set the auto-on/off time of theunit. Toset theauto-on time.. Press the SETbutton, the Timer onindicator " " displaysand flashes,the lastauto-on setting time and the signal"h" will be shown on the LCD display area. Now it is ready to reset theauto-on time to STARTthe operation.. Press the or button to set desiredauto-on time. Each time you press the button, the time increases/decreases by half an hour between 0 and 0 hours and by one hour between 0 and hours. 3. nce the desired time establishes,there will be three seconds delay before the remote controller transmits the signal tothe air conditioner.then, the signal "h" will disappear,the Timer onindicator will remain on and theset temperature will re-appear on the LCDdisplay window. Toset theauto-off time.. Press the SETbuttonuntil the Timer on indicator " "displays and flashes, the lastauto-off setting time and the signal "h" will be shown on the LCD display area. Now it is ready to reset the Auto-offtime tostpthe operation.. Press the or button to set desiredauto-off time. Therefore, keep the remote controller in alocation where it can transmit the signal to the indoorunit properly. The effective operation time set by the remote controller for the timer function is limited to the following settings: 0.5,.0,.5,.0,.5, 3.0, 3.5,.0,.5, 5.0, 5.5,.0,.5,.0,.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 0,,, 3,, 5,,, 8, 9, 0,,, 3 and. Example of timer setting ff Start hours later TIMER (Auto-on peration) The TIMER feature is useful when youwant the unitto turnon automatically before you return home. The air conditioner will automatically start operating at the set time. Example: Tostartthe airconditioner inhours.. Pressthe SET button to select TIMER, the last setting of starting operation time and the signal "h" will showon thedisplay area.. Pressthe or button to display ".0h" on the TIMER displayof theremote controller. 3. Wait for three seconds and the digital display area will show the temperature again. TIMER (Auto-off peration) The TIMER feature is useful when you want the unit to turn off automatically after you go to bed. The air conditioner will stop automatically at the set time. TIMER TIMER (ff Start Stop operation) This feature is useful when you want to start the air conditioner before youwake up and stop it after you leavethe house. n Set Stop 0 hours later Example: Tosopthe airconditioner in0 hours.. Press the SET button toselecttimer,the lastsettingof stopping operation timeand the signal "h" will show on the display area.. Press the or buttonto display "0h" on the TIMER display of the remote controller. 3. Wait for three seconds and thedigital display areawill show thetemperatureagain.the " "indicator remains onand this function isactivated. Set ff hours later aftersetting Start Stop 5hours later after setting Example: Tostart the air conditioner hours after setting, and stop it 5hours after setting.. Press the SET button to select TIMER.. Press the or button to display.0hon the TIMER display. 3. Press the SET button to select TIMER.. Press the or button to display 5.0hon the TIMER display. 5. Wait for three seconds and the digital display area will show the temperature again. The " & " indicators remain on and this function is activated. CMBINEDTIMER (Setting both and timers simultaneously) TIMER TIMER (n Stop Start operation) Thisfeatureis useful when you want tostop the air conditionerafter you go tobed, and start it again in the morningwhenyou wake up or when you return home. n Set hours later after setting Stop Start 0 hours later after setting Example: Tostop theair conditionerhours aftersettingand startit again0 hours after setting.. Press theset button to select TIMER.. Press the or button to display.0h on the TIMER display. 3. Press theset button to select TIMER.. Press the or button to display0h onthe TIMER display. 5. Wait for three secondsand the digital display area will showthe temperature again. The " & "indicatorsremainon and this function isactivated.

Handling the remote controller 8m Location of the remote controller. Use theremotecontroller within adistanceof 8 meters from the appliance, pointingit towards the receiver.reception isconfirmed byabeep. CAUTIS The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other materials block the signals from the remote controller to the indoor unit. Prevent any liquid from falling into the remote controller. Do not expose the remote controller to direct sunlight or heat. If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not function properly.use curtains to prevent the sunlight from falling on the receiver. If other electrical appliances react to the remote controller, either move these appliances or consult your local dealer. Do not drop the remote controller. Handle with care. Do not place heavy objects on the remote controller, or step on it. Using the remote controller holder (optional) Theremotecontroller can be attachedto awall or pillar by using aremote controller holder(notsupplied, purchased separately). Before installing the remote controller,check that the air conditioner receives the signals properly. Install the remote controller withtwo screws. For installing or removing the remote controller, move it upor down in the holder. () Replacing batteries The following cases signify exhausted batteries. Replace old batteries with new ones. Receiving beep is not emitted when asignal is transmitted. Indicator fades away. The remotecontroller is powed by two dry batteries (R03/LR03X) housedin the back rear part and protectedby acover. () Removethe cover in the rearpart of the remote controller. () Removethe oldbatteries andinsertthe new batteries,placingthe(+) and (-) endscorrectly. (3) Install thecoverback on. NTE: When the batteries are removed, the remote controller erases all programming. After inserting newbatteries, the remote controller mustbe reprogrammed. CAUTIS Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types. Do not leave the batteries in the remote controller if they are not going to be used for or 3months. Do not dispose batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary. ()
