X.90 Access Control System ACX provides a comprehensive Access Control System and Time Attendance, which is the highest security standard in the world industry. ACX product range includes door access panel, reader standalone reader, UHF reader, UHF ISO card for Carpark solution and a lot of signal conversion tools. ACX Access Control System is built on distributed processing architecture with intelligent components at each level. At the top is the enterprise grade, COM server which supports multiple door access panel and user applications. It acts as a local bridge between the door controllers and the application software. It is responsible for synchronizing all the door controllers, implementing advanced access control features and storing events. The add-on Time Attendance application (X.90) automates time tracking related processes and enhances the organization s performance by eliminating paperwork and manual processes associated with time attendance needs.
Communication The computer or the server communicates with the control panels with a bridge program called COM Server. Multi-threading program is implemented in the COM server so that one separate thread will be created for one control panel. It makes use of the multi-threading computing power of state-of-art CPU s. Transactions can be uploaded to the computer in less than 2 sec with 50 panels. Security The communication between the COM Server and the Control Panel is structured with a 4-step scramble encryption as shown. User can define the 128 bits public key for scramble data exchange. So even if a user with the same software in the same LAN cannot snoop the data or simulate himself as the administrator as long as the default 128-bit public key is changed and kept by the real user. COM Server and Control Panel - Data exchange COM Server COM Server requests Control Panel to generate a rkey 1 Control Panel generates a 192 bits random number (rkey) COM Server decodes the rkey by mkey 2 Control Panel uses mkey encrypt rkey COM Server uses rkey to encrypt commands COM Server use the rkey decodes the feedback status 3 4 Control Panel decodes commands by rkey and run commands Control Panel Control Panel uses rkey encrypt feedback status KEY definition : Master KEY(mKEY) : 128 bits Customer KEY; Random KEY(rKEY) : 192 bits random number * rkey will be cleared automatically 1 sec. after if no response from COM Server * rkey will be cleared automatically after decode the data and total time spent less than 1 second *

System Highlights Communication The computer or the server communicates with the control panels with a bridge program called COM Server. Multi-threading program is implemented in the COM server so that one separate thread will be created for one control panel. It makes use of the multi-threading computing power of state-of-art CPU s. Transactions can be uploaded to the computer in less than 2 sec with 50 panels. Security For normal control panels in a network, people with client software can operate the control panel through the LAN. However it brings a security problem. When a system integrator or a person with the software get access to the LAN, they can easily operate the control panel and cause security issues. Some control panels which encrypt the command between the computer and the COM server with a fixed key cannot solve the problem as the command is still fixed length of characters to an engineer. In our system, the communication between the COM Server and the Control Panel is structured with a 4-step scramble encryption. User can define the 128 bits public key for scramble data exchange. So even if a user with the same software in the same LAN cannot snoop the data or simulate himself as the administrator as long as the default 128-bit public key is changed and kept by the real user. LCD Interactive Message Normally LCD readers can only display card numbers stored in the RFID card. With Wiegand communication, it is impossible to display any message stored in the control panel. ACX 8901&8902 control panel supports the scramble RS485 communication with ACX RS485 readers. User can define information associated with the cardholder like Staff name, ID and etc. in X.90 system. When cardholders swipe the card. LCD reader will display interactive message from the control panel. It creates the great flexibility for user interface and requirement Modular Design X.90 access control system support various devices like ACX 8901&8902 control panel, NVR s, Android mobile phones and etc. Various devices have different applications in access control or attendance. X.90 system implements the system by modular design so that user can add new features without affecting other part of the system. The system can be scale up or down as the user desires. Report X.90 supports nearly all the popular reports liked by the administrators. Apart from the normal access and alarm records reports, X.90 supports reporting the location and time for swiping cards on mobile devices and various formats of attendance reports. Reports can also be scheduled sent out to administrators with emails.
