I am so excited to welcome you to Florida College for the 2015 2016 school year. It should be one of the most challenging and rewarding times of your life. I was a student at Florida College a few years ago (okay, quite a few years ago!), and I still remember my time in the dorm as one of the best memories I have of my college years. As in most any home, the family is made up of more than just yourself. Hinely Hall will house approximately 150 girls and in close proximity will be the girls of Jennifer Hall. We are all one family and work together to have the best environment possible for learning, living and fun. Improvements to the section that I would strongly advise you to become familiar with is the dress code. Make your clothing choices wisely and please bring appropriate attire for all occasions. You will need appropriate attire for the hot, humid August weather, but January and February can be quite cold, so you will need clothing that covers a wide range of temperatures. A reliable umbrella is also a necessity for those numerous afternoon showers. I am including an attachment of some items that we provide for use and others that I have found that you will need.
