Nearby Malmesbury is a charming town, reputed to be the oldest borough in England. Continue for about a mile and at the top of the hill turn right for Corston and Rodbourne. Continue into the village, passing the church on your right and turn left signed to Rodbourne Bottom and Cleeve House. Drop down the hill, under the railway and where road bends left by a grass triangle fork right out of the village. The entrance to High Gables is on the left hand side, set back from the lane.
