In 2014, ~221 irrigated acres were seeded with new alfalfa and ~30 irrigated acres were seeded with pasture grass. The remainder of the irrigated cropland, ~195 acres, are enrolled in a barley contract @ $10/cwt with the new owner assuming the contract. The ranch historically produces 4+ tons of premium or superior dairy quality alfalfa hay per acre and 90-100 bushels of feed or malt barley per acre.
