While conventional systems consume large amounts of energy in order to meet de-humidification targets (often through a constant cycle of over-cooling and over-heating), Eco ULTRA performs the task efficiently and inexpensively. The result is tightly controlled humidity, lighter latent loads and improved overall efficiency all year round, in all conditions including: Fluctuating seasonal humidity Regional (coastal) humidity Fluctuating occupancy Partial loads Unoccupied hours The more moisture present in indoor air, the harder air conditioning system has to work to achieve cooling. Because occupancy and operations further increase humidity levels, the smart solution is to integrate Eco Ultra Unit to handle the latent loads, which then allows Eco Ultra units to efficiently handle the sensible loads. Conventional System As the system load varies, the machine adjusts automatically by changing speed as well as reducing the number of modules in use. Ultra EC Fans High-level monitoring with simplicity System integration using MODBUS Diagnostics feature When it comes to controlling a motor accurately and efficiently, a unit s integrated electronics have to continuously monitor its speed and adjust input accordingly. With Eco ULTRA s required circuitry being available to external sources, simple speed control is possible. ADDITIONALLY: Outdoor fans have high ambient rating/humidity protection, ensuring their suitability to the harshness of the Australian and New Zealand climate. EC fans contribute to increasing the overall efficiency of an application. Keeping the refrigerant pressure constant (rather than having it rise and fall as fans switch on and off) has been found to reduce compressor loads. This allows an accurate control of the supply air when required. For example, when performing high latent cooling (where the evaporating temperatures are all controlled to a low temperature), a minimum supply air requirement ensures that the reheat coil will increase the temperature to maximise cooling. The modulating valve eliminates variability caused by differences in outdoor temperature and indoor airflow, thereby enabling the perfect amount of reheat when required. Such an outcome would not be possible with a traditional reheat system.
