Please note: The Kibbeh attachments and cutting plates are stored in the storage compartment on top of the body. The plug is stored in the storage compartment at the rear of the body. Ensure the air pas- 5

sage under the meat grinder is kept free and not blocked. Instructions for use Assembling 1. Place the meat grinder onto a stable, level surface. Hold the head and insert into the inlet. 2. Place the fasten knob into the body and tighten until the head is securely held in place. 3. Place the snake into the head, thin end first, until it sits in the head. 4. Put the cutting blade onto the snake shaft with the blade facing out. Ensure this is fitted correctly or the meat will not grind. 5. Place the desired cutting plate, fine, medium or coarse, next to the cutting blade, ensuring the protrusions fit into the slots on either sides of the rim. 6. Screw the fixing ring in place. Be careful not to over tighten. 7. Place the hopper plate on the head and fix into position. 6

Mincing Meat 1. Place a dish below the meat grinder head to catch the food. 2. Cut the meat into chunks approximately 2cm x 2cm x 6cm, so they fit easily into the hopper opening. Ensure there are no bones, tough sinew or excess fat. 3. Press the ON button and use the food pusher to guide the pieces of meat into the machine. Add small amounts at a time to avoid overloading the machine. 4. Once all of the meat has been processed press Stop & Reset. 5. Unplug the meat grinder and remove the leftover meat by dismantling the head (See Disassembly). Reverse If there is a blockage, press Stop and wait until the motor has stopped completely. Then press Reverse for 3-6 seconds. The feed screw will be rotating in the opposite direction and the head will become empty. Once the blockage has cleared, continue to use the meat grinder as before. If the reverse function is unable to clear the blockage, disassemble the head and remove the meat. Half The meat grinder has a Half button which enable the grinder to function on half the power (900w). If grinding small pieces of lean meat or tender cooked meats the Half button may be sufficient. Also, if you are grinding meat for the second time the Half may be suitable for your needs. Making Kibbeh Stuffing recipe Ingredients 100g Mutton 1 tbsp. Olive oil 1 onion (finely chopped) 1 tbsp.
