Introducing the iqe Intelligent Boiler Range The iqe range is a collection of highly efficient, condensing boilers controlled by a remarkable electronic management system that offers unparalleled flexibility when installed in any home. There s plenty to choose from with six models, three combis 25, 30 & 35kW and three System T boilers 20, 25 & 30kW. In fact, they re Band A SEDBUK rated at over 90% efficiency, depending on the season. What s more, the sophisticated system keeps pollution emissions to an absolute minimum with nitrous oxide emissions well below European standard (Class 5 reference EN 483) limits. Each of the boilers in the iqe range is equipped with a revolutionary new hydraulic assembly. It s this assembly that allows for a better system head, improved de-aeration. The combi version includes a motorised valve and a flow meter for accurate management of hot water. The System T version, which is designed to be connected directly to a DHW cylinder also includes a motorised valve. This simplifies and reduces the installation time of a stored water cylinder. Intelligence in every last detail Ingenious new controls The main heat exchanger Made with high quality stainless steel (AISI 316 LC) the main heat exchanger is extremely resistant to the corrosive nature of condensate. However, the really clever part is its cylindrical shape which, as well as efficiently collecting condensation, also ensures the best possible heat exchange takes place. The pre-mixed burner This is also made from corrosion resistant stainless steel. Plus, it s cylinder, positioned radially in the combustion chamber and operates at a lower surface temperature thanks to its `micro-flame feature, which significantly reduces the amount of nitrous-oxide pollution that s produced. As for air and gas for combustion, these are introduced into the burner manifold pre-mixed and perfectly balanced. The pre-mixing system The intelligent pre-mixing system combined with constant temperature monitoring means that the boiler responds effortlessly to demand, ensuring ultimate efficiency each and every time. Protecting the environment, the smart way. iqe boilers incorporate an innovative new exchanger that achieves a modulation range of 1:5. What s more, each boiler always has environmental protection in mind with the integration of the sophisticated pre-mix system and constant temperature monitoring - which help reduce pollutant emissions. In fact, nitrous-oxide emissions average 30 mg/kwh, that s less than half of the Class 5 UNI EN 297 and 483 rules. Each iqe boiler has a control panel split in to two easy to operate zones. The lower half features an 8-button keyboard dedicated to the end-user, the area above the display has just four buttons and is dedicated to the operation of the boiler. Added to this, there s an option for a digital or mechanical timer to be located above the display. Red - boiler in alarm. Energy recovery The unused heat that would normally be lost into the atmosphere is used to pre heat the returning water as it enters the heat exchanger. This results in less wasted energy and is demonstrated by a lower flue exhaust temperature. STANDBY In Standby mode the frost protection feature remains active. Summer mode The boiler works only on D.H.W demand. Winter mode The boiler works in both CH and DHW mode. The heating can be controlled by any timer and thermostat connected. C.H. Combination Boilers A Combi boiler is a central heating boiler and instantaneous water heater, all in one unit. Water is heated directly from the mains water supply, so there s no need for a hot water storage cylinder or cold water storage cistern. This means your hot water is delivered directly to your shower or taps at mains pressure, for ultimate performance and convenience. These boilers are the perfect answer for homes where a larger amount of stored hot water is needed - if you have two or more bathrooms, for example. They re also a good option if you live in an area of the country with low mains water pressure.
