IG8750 Mini Chopper at a Glance Hand Blender at a Glance Before First Use Wash the bowl and blade assembly in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Please use caution when handling the blade. The bowl and blade are dishwasher safe. Do not immerse the motor housing in water. Using Your Mini Chopper Place the bowl onto a flat stable surface. Slide the blade down over the shaft inside the bowl. Be careful not to touch the blade as it is extremely sharp. Place you ingredients inside of the bowl. Position the motor unit onto the bowl, lining up the grooves in the motor unit and bowl. For your protection this units has a push activation system. The mini chopper will not operate until the motor unit and bowl are held into place correctly. Do no attempt to operate this unit without the motor unit aligned into place. Press and hold the pulse button. The unit will begin to chop your ingredients. The longer the chopping time, the finer the texture of your ingredients will be. To stop chopping release the pulse button. The maximum running time for each cycle should not exceed 1 minute as this could cause the motor to over heat. Allow the unit to cool down between each cycle. Keep a firm grip on the bowl when the unit is chopping to ensure it does not slip. Ensure that the blade has stopped turning before removing the motor unit from the bowl. Hold the blade assembly and carefully remove the blade from the bowl. Be careful not to touch the blade as it is extremely sharp. You can now empty the ingredients out of the bowl When you have finished using the mini chopper remove the plug from the mains power outlet. Chopping Guide Ensure the blade and bowl are thoroughly dry before use. Chop ingredients into smaller pieces even before chopping. Chop small quantities at a time. Do not over fill the bowl. Food must be cooked before pureeing. Check consistency at regular intervals. To ensure even results you may need to scrap from around the side of the bowl using a spoon. Do no use your fingers. Always switch off and unplug the mini chopper before scraping the bowl. Hard or rough ingredients can dull the interior of the chopping bowl over time. This will not affect the choppers performance. Carrots etc. can discolour the plastic parts. We recommend cleaning these parts immediately after use to prevent this. 3
