Propulsion Two Caterpillar marine diesel engines, Model 3406E DI-TA, four stroke, 6 cylinder propulsion engines with turbocharger, electronically controlled injection, heat exchanger cooling. Each delivering 600 BHP. Underwater exhaust system designed and supplied by Marquip. Power transmission to propellers through, Vulkan high-elastic couplings, Twindisc gearboxes with trailing pumps, Rubber Design flexible couplings, Amartech shafts running in water lubricated sterntubes and propellers running in fixed nozzles. Engine room, wheelhouse, port and starboard wing stations controls for propulsion and maneuvering by Caterpillar remote engine controls. Cramm 100 HP bow thruster and hydraulic system powered by electric motor and engine driven, load sensing PTO pumps. Koopnautic stabilizing system. Fuel System System comprises of port and starboard bunkering stations, tender filling station, filling, suction transfer lines of seamless metallic piping, total 48.000 liters capacity double bottom and engine room, lazarette integral tanks. Complete fuel purified by Alfa Laval fuel separator and additional filters for each consumer. One electrical, one backup manual pump enabling transfer of pump within storage tanks and to settling tanks in engine room. Necessary tank gauging and alarms with connections to monitoring system. Black & Grey Water System System comprises of Jets toilet system with two vacuum generators in combination with Hamann treatment system. Total 8.000 liters capacity integral tanks, sludge pump with shore or direct overboard discharge, polypropylene piping with necessary odor filters. Freshwater System System serving all domestic consumers and services comprises of two water pressure pumps with own tank, two water heater, circulation pump, UV filters as required, 10.000 liters tank capacity, two 5 tons per day capacity HEM water maker, outlets for deck washing, hot and cold water piping of polypropylen with insulation, tank level gauging. Bilge System System serves all watertight compartments with strainers and bilge alarms. Two high-suction ability two bilge pumps. One in engine room, one in lazarette. Lazarette pump also serves for fire fighting purposes. Nelson oily bilge water separator with direct overboard discharge. All suctions are fitted with alarms. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning System System designed, engineered and supplied by Heinen & Hopman to comply with highest comfort standards. Ducted air conditioning system for complete accommodation. No faincoils within the cabins and spaces. Cooling and heating by central air handling units where air distributed by insulated air ducts with necessary dampers, grills and heating coils. Air supply and extraction fans serving all necessary location in accommodation and other technical spaces taking into account acoustic privacy and comfort. Two engine room coolers for treatment of air in Engine room supplied by frequency controlled inlet fans providing high efficient combustion air for consumers. Electrical System Two sets of Caterpillar Diesel Generators in engine room, 60 kw each; one 34 kw emergency/night diesel generator in lazarette. Shore connection through Glendenning cable master feeding the main switchboard in engine room. Distribution panels in accommodation, wheelhouse, 24VDC panels in engine room and wheelhouse, emergency panel in lazarette. Mastervolt supplied start, service, emergency, navigation battery sets and chargers. Interior and exterior low voltage lighting, fixtures, navigation lights. Deck Machinery and Equipment Two Muir vertical anchor windlasses suitable for 19mm anchor chain on the forward deck with roller, stopper devil s claw assembly. Two Muir capstans on the aft deck. Anchors, chains, mooring lines required by Classification. One Sanguineti electro-hydraulic deck crane with a capacity of 1.200 kg at 6 meters. One Sanguineti electrical side-boarding ladder on starboard side recessed into the bulwark with 7 steps. One Besenzoni electro-hydraulic, retractable aft gangway, 4,5 meters length.
