PRESENTATION MCR-P 24, MCR-P 24/28 BIC and MCR-P MI boilers are delivered fully assembled and factory tested. They come ready to operate on natural gases; operation on propane is possible by simple adjustment or by conversion kit (available as optional equipment). MCR-P 24 boilers are factory fitted with a heating/dhw reversal valve for connection to an independent hot water calorifier: 2 types of optional DHW calorifiers are available: - 80-litre BMR 80 calorifier to be juxtaposed to the right or left of the boiler: version MCR-P 24/BS 80; - 130-litre SR 130 calorifier to be placed on the floor under the boiler: version MCR-P 24/BS 130. The MCR-P 24/28 BIC version is particularly compact (00x600x450mm) and efficient: DHW production, with *** performance in accordance with EN 13203, is handled by a 40-litre storage calorifier integrated into the boiler, combined with an external plate exchanger with a large exchange surface, a DHW pump and a heating/dhw reversal valve. MCR-P MI boilers are combi boilers and produce large quantities of domestic hot water (*** classification in accordance with the standard EN 13203) thanks to an oversized plate exchanger and very reactive electronics. THEY OFFER HIGH LEVELS OF PERFORMANCE - Efficiency at 40/30 C up to 10% - Efficiency class CE - NOx < 70mg/kWh - NOx classification: 5 in accordance with PR EN 15420 - Very low noise level (see page 5) STRONG POINTS - Particularly compact, light boilers - Perfect adaptation of boiler output to actual needs thanks to the stainless steel gas burner with complete premixing, modulating from 25 to 100% output, fitted with a silencer on the air intake. - Stainless steel exchanger with double external envelope in composite material. - Electronic ignition and ionisation flame check. - Delivered with a 8-litre expansion vessel (no vessel on MCR-P 34/3 MI), automatic air vent, water pressure switch. CONTROL PANEL CONTROL PANEL ON MCR-P BOILERS MCR-P boilers are fitted with a very simple control panel. This allows the continuous adaptation of heating and DHW output to needs. It incorporates functions for antifreeze protection and cleaning the circulator pump every 25 hours and a troubleshooting assistance system with alarm code display. INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS Important: The principle of a condensing boiler is to recycle the energy contained in the water vapour in the combustion gases (latent vaporisation heat). Consequently, to achieve an annual operating efficiency in the order of 10%, it is necessary to size the heating surfaces in such a way as to obtain low return temperatures, below the dew point (e.g. underfloor heating, low temperature radiators, etc.) during the entire heating period. MCR-P boilers must only be used in closed-circuit heating installations, previously cleaned to eliminate residues and deposits caused by commissioning the installation. Furthermore, it is important to protect central heating installations against the risk of corrosion, scaling and microbiological growth: the water treatment products used must comply with regulations.
